Preface Verint Download Center is a self-service site that allows Verint customers to easily access

and to manage their licenses.

About this Document

This document offers guidelines for using Verint Self-service portal for downloading Verint

products. It describes how to access a purchase or transfer permission to another user.

Downloading Product Packages Verint Download Center is a self-service site that allows Verint customers to easily

access and to manage their licenses.

First time users receive two e-mails: your Fulfillment Certificate contains license

information and the login information credentials to access Verint Download Center.

Returning users receive only the Fulfillment Certificate. Product packages can be

downloaded using Microsoft Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Chrome Browsers. For first

time use, per device, install the Akamai NetSession Interface on your computer.

Logging into Verint Download Center

Users with credentials can only access Verint Download Center. Users with

permission can delegate permission to users in their organization. However, once an

access is transferred, the original user can no download the order.

To login to the Verint Download Center

1. Click the link provided in your eFulfilment letter, or copy/paste

https://vdelivery.verint.com/

into the browser.

2. Click Login.

3. Read the legal policy page, close it to continue.

4. Review your purchase order.

5. Optional. If applicable, click the Transfer button.

6. Click on the relevant PO

7. Check the relevant media needed for download (you can download the whole

package or just a part of it)

8. Click Downloading Selected

o If you are first time user, you will need to download and install the

Akamai NetSession Interface

o Follow the instruction next

9. Select a target location for the download.

10. Click Save and exit.

11. Downloading will be available always and has no expiration date

Downloading the Akamai NetSession Interface

1. In the package selection screen, select the check box next to each of the files you

want to download.

2. Click Download.

3. Click download the installer.

4. Click Run and wait for the download to complete.

5. Click Run to close the Internet explorer security warning.

6. Select I Agree and click Next.

7. Select the target directory to save the files and click OK.

8. Click Close to complete the installation process.

Note: The downloading process begins. Wait for the download to complete. At any

time during the download process, you can pause or resume downloading using the

pause and resume buttons

Verifying the Download This section is relevant only to customers who receive MD5 and ISO files.

You can verify the correctness of the downloaded ISO Image file using an MD5 sum

checker/ generator software program. There are many software programs available

for the Windows platform to calculate MD5s. To find applications that generate MD5

checksum and compare two MD5 checksums for integrity, search the web for md5

sum checker. There are UI based and command line based utilities for all Operating

Systems.

The MD5 file is located at the same location as the ISO Image file

To verify the correctness of the download:

1. Select the original MD5 file

2. Use the MD5 checker to calculate the MD5 file of the downloaded ISO Image file copy

3. Display the content of the original MD5 file

4. Verify that the MD5 calculated for the downloaded file is identical to the original MD5

Accessing the ISO Image File An ISO file is an image of a CD or DVD. To use an ISO Image file use one of the

following options:

Burn the file to a CD/DVD:

To burn an ISO Image file to a CD or DVD select the Burn image or Write image option

in your CD burner software and then select the file. If your CD/DVD burning

software does not have this option, or you want something simpler, you can search

the web for ISO File Recorder or Burner.

Load the file as a virtual CD/DVD (mount a virtual CD/DVD drive):

To mount a virtual CD/DVD drive, search and download any virtual CD/DVD drive, or

use any of your CD or DVD burner software that support this operation. Mount the

ISO file with the virtual drive and use it as any CD/DVD.

Transferring Delivery

You can transfer the responsibility to downloading the media (the software and the

documentation) to another user such as a member of your organization or a partner. Once

the permission is transferred, you can view your order, but the option to download is

disabled.

To transfer the delivery:

1. Login to Verint Download Center using your credentials you received in the Login

information e-mail.

2. On the Welcome page, click the Transfer Delivery button.

3. On the Welcome page, click the Transfer Delivery button.

4. Select each checkbox to complete the operation.

5. Click Continue.
