I CONSTRUCTION PHASE

i. Necessary approval of the State Forest Department shall be obtained before commencing construction of the project.

Not applicable. The project comes under the HUDA developed sector of Gurgaon and all the development in the area is as per the approved Master Plan of the Gurgaon City. Presently the project is in partial operational stage as we have started the handing over /releasing of few completed towers of the project for which already we have obtained consent to operate certificate from Haryana State Pollution Control Board for the commissioning of the project Copy of the same is enclosed herewith for your ready reference as Annexure –I.

ii. All required sanitary and hygienic measures should be in place before starting construction activities and to be maintained throughout the construction phase.

Being Complied.Presently the project is in partial operational stage as we have started the handing over /releasing of few completed towers of the project. We have obtained consent to operate certificate from Haryana State Pollution Control Board for the commissioning of the project. The construction of the remaining towers of the project is completed and the project is in its finishing stage. Approximately 50 nos. of labours are engaged in the finishing activities. Adequate facilities are being provided in regard to drinking water, sanitation and solid waste management.Adequate drinking water has being provided to the labours engaged in the finishing work. STP of adequate capacity has been provided for the disposal of waste water at the site.

However, the water requirement for the different construction/finishing work has been augmented through STP treated water operational at the project site.

iii. A First Aid Room will be provided in the project both during construction and operation phase.

Being CompliedApproximately 50 nos. of labours are engaged in the finishing activities. Adequate medical treatment is being provided to the labour in case of any health problem, major and minor.

iv. Adequate drinking water and sanitary facility should be provided for the construction workers at site. The safe disposal of waste water and solid wastes generated during construction phase should be ensured.

Yes being complied. Presently approximately 50 nos. of labours from nearby areas are engaged for the finishing activity of the project. Adequate drinking water facilities have been ensured for the labours and proper toilets have been provided for the sanitary facilities of the labour. All the waste water generated from the project has been treated through the STP of adequate capacity operational at the site.

v. All the top soil excavated during construction should Already complied.

be stored for use in horticulture/landscape development within the project site.

The construction work of the project already completed. Presently the project is in finishing stage.

vi. Disposal of muck, including excavation material during construction phase should not create any adverse effects on neighboring communities and should be disposed off necessary precautions for general safety and health aspects.

vii The Diesel generator sets to be used during construction phase should be enclosed type and should conform to E(P)A Rules prescribed for air and noise emission standard.

2Nos. of DG sets (02x 500KVA) are installed at the project site for the operational towers of the project. The D.G. sets are used periodically on need base only based on required load. All the D.G. sets used has been attached with necessary acoustic enclosure. Stack height of each DG set conforms to E (P) A norms. Regular six monthly monitoring of Ambient air quality and noise has been carried out MoEF/EPA/CPCB/NABL approved lab M/s Perfact Researchers Pvt., Ltd where directly/ indirectly we are monitoring the D.G. sets with respect to pollution. Ambient air quality and noise monitoring results have been enclosed as Annexure–II for your ready reference.

viii Ambient noise levels should conform to residential standards both during day and night. Incremental pollution loads on the ambient air and noise quality should be closely monitored during construction phase.

The construction work of the remaining towers of the project is completed and the project is in its finishing stage.

Available best construction practices have been followed by the unit. The construction machineries/equipments used of high standard of reputed make. So incremental noise level due to the construction activity/finishing activities in the site is negligible. Please find the Environmental monitoring report enclosed as Annexure-II for your ready reference.

ix. Construction spoils including bituminous material and other hazardous material must not be allowed to contaminate water course and the dump sites for such material must be secured so that they should not leach into the ground water.

Already complied presently the project is in its finishing stage.

II OPERATIONAL PHASE

i. A Sewage treatment plant of adequate capacity shall be installed. The installation of the STP should be certified by an independent expert and a report in this regard should be submitted to the Ministry before commissioning for operation.

STP of 400 KLD has been installed to treat the wastewater generated from the Residential group housing project. The STP of the project is running well and all the parameters of STP treated water are well within the limit of CPCB/HSPCB. STP adequacy report certified by an independent expert had been already submitted with Six monthly compliance report of June’2013.STP analysis report carried out by MoEF/EPA/CPCB/NABL approved lab M/s Perfact Researchers Pvt., Ltd is enclosed as Annexure – II.

ii. The solid waste generated should be properly collected & segregated before composting and non biodegradable waste should be disposed off to the City Municipal Facility.

The solid waste generated from the complex is managed as per MSW Management & Handling Rules, 2000. The waste is handed over to M/s Clean up The waste for further treatment/ disposal of the solid waste. M/s Clean up The Waste has been granted approval from Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon to collect solid waste and dispose

it at Bandhwari solid waste treatment plant for further treatment & disposal of municipal solid waste. Please find attached the document of our tie-up with M/s Clean up The waste enclosed as Annexure –III.

iii. Any hazardous waste including biomedical waste should be disposed of as per applicable Rules and norms with necessary approvals of the Haryana State Pollution Control Board.

As the said project is a Residential Group Housing Project. Hence no Hazardous wastes generated from the project activities except the spent oil generated from the D.G sets which have been properly handed over to the over to the MoEF/CPCB approved recycler M/s Lubri Sales (India), Haryana. Copy of Form-13 generated by the recycler is enclosed as Annexure-IV for your ready reference.

iv. Diesel generator sets proposed as backup power for lifts and common area illumination should be of enclosed type and conform to E(P)A Rules prescribed for air and noise emission standards as per CPCB guidelines. Exhausts should be raised to 4 meters above the rooftop.

We have already obtained electricity sanction load letter from DHBVN for the project. The D.G. sets are used periodically on need base only based on required load. All the DG sets are acoustically treated and complied with E (P) Act, 1986 Stack heights is as per CPCB norms.

v. The green belt design along the periphery of the plot shall achieve attenuation factor conforming to the day and night noise standards prescribed for residential land use. The open spaces inside the plot should be suitably landscaped and covered with vegetation of indigenous variety.

Yes, the green belt has been developed as per the prevailing norms in this regard. The plantations details of already planted plant are enclosed herewith as Annexure-V for your ready reference.

vi. Incremental pollution loads on the ambient air quality, noise and water quality should be periodically monitored after commissioning of the project.

Yes, necessary Environmental Monitoring has been carried out by NABL/MoEF approved Lab on six monthly basis. Latest Environmental Monitoring reports from MoEF/EPA/CPCB/NABL approved lab M/s Perfact Research Pvt., Ltd for the project are enclosed herewith as an Annexure-II for your ready reference.

vii. Application of solar energy should be incorporated for illumination of common areas, lighting for gardens and street lighting in addition to provision for solar water heating.

Yes, solar energy is utilized for hot water supply for kitchen.

viii Traffic congestion near the entry and exit points from the roads adjoining the proposed project site must be avoided. Parking should be fully internalized and no public space should be utilized.

Due care has been ensured for smooth operation of the traffic. The whole development work in the area is as per the approved Plan of Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA).Adequate number of parking space has been provided for the resident and visitors at basement and surface level of the project.

ix. A report on the energy conservation measures conforming to energy conservation norms finalize by Bureau of Energy Efficiency should be prepared incorporating details about building materials & technology, R & U Factors, etc submitted to the Ministry in three months time.

Already Complied. Appropriate all possible energy conservation means has been incorporated for the project in its planning stage itself. Energy conservation measures have already been communicated to MoEF at the time of environmental clearance of the project like.

Passive Solar designs refer to the use of Sun’s energy for the heating and cooling of living spaces.

The orientation of the building is done in such a way that maximum daylight is available

Provisions for the supply of fuel (kerosene or cooking gas); utensils such as pressure cookers etc. to the construction laborers has been provided in their respective shelter areas arranged by the respective contractor.

iii. All the labourers to be engaged for construction should be screened for health and adequately treated before issue of work permits to them at the site.

iv. Six monthly monitoring reports should be submitted to Ministry and it’s Regional Office, Chandigarh

Yes, regular six monthly Environmental Monitoring has been carried out by NABL/MoEF approved Lab and subsequently submit the report to your office. Recent environment monitoring reports carried out by MoEF/EPA/CPCB/NABL approved lab M/s Perfact Researchers Pvt., for the project are enclosed herewith as an Annexure-II for your ready reference.

4. Officials from Regional Office of MoEF, Chandigarh who would be monitoring the implementation of environmental safeguards would be given full cooperation, facilities and documents/data by the project proponents during their inspection. A complete set of all documents submitted to MoEF should be forwarded to the CCF, Regional office of MoEF, Chandigarh.

Yes, we will give full cooperation, facilities and data for the implementation of environmental safeguards to statuary bodies during their inspection of project site.

5. In case of any change (S) in the scope of the project, the project would require a fresh appraisal by this Ministry.

There is no change in the scope of the project. The project has been developed as per the plan submitted to MoEF.

6. Ministry reserves the right to add additional safeguard measures subsequently, if found necessary, and to take action including revoking of the environment clearance under the provisions of the Environmental (Protection) Act, 1986, to ensure effective implementation of the suggested safeguard measures in a time bound and satisfactory manner.

Agreed, we have ensured effective implementation of the environmental safeguards suggested by concerned authority followed by the unit in a time bound and satisfactory manner as far as possible and technically feasible for compliance for the project.

7. All other statutory clearances such as approvals for storage of diesel from Chief Controller of

9. The project proponent should advertise in at least two Newspaper informing that the project has been accorded environmental clearance and copies of clearance letter are available with Delhi pollution Control Committee and may also be seen on the website of the Ministry of Environment and Forests at http://www.envfor.nic.in within 7 days from the date of issue of clearance letter and a copy of same should be forwarded to Regional Offices of Ministry at Chandigarh.

Already complied. The copy of the advertisement has been sent in our 1st six monthly progress report dated 12.06.2007.

10. These stipulations would be enforced among others under the provisions of the water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, the Air (Prevention and Pollution Control) Act, 1981, the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and the Public Liability (Insurance) Act, 1991.

Unit has fulfilled all applicable laws/rules pertaining to the project as far as applicable.

11. The project authority will enter into MOU with all buyers of the property to ensure operation and maintenance of the assets by owners of the buildings.

Yes, the project authority has ensured proper operation and maintenance of Building. After the formation of registered RWA in due course of time the operation and maintenance of the assets of the building will be handed over to them and accordingly informed to your office for your necessary records.

12. Under the provisions of Environment (Protection) Act 1986, legal action shall be initiated against the project proponent if it was found that construction of the project had started without obtaining environmental clearance.
