Objections/ Comments invited from various stakehotders on Petition for BusinessPlan for Control Period from FY 2O1,6-t7 till FY 2018-19 submitted by EtectricityWing of Engineering Department (CED), UT Chandigarh
1, In accordance with the provisions of the JERC (Multi Year Distribution Tariff) Regulation, 2014, theElectricity Department, UT'Chandigarh (CED) had flled the Business plan for MYT Control Period Fyzu!o-L/ to FY 2018-19 for its distribution business on17'n August 2015. Hon'ble JERC vide letter dated 3,9,2015 raised certain observations on the BusinessPlan and CED has submitted the point wise reply of such observations to JERC on dated 14,9.2015, TheCommission has accepted the above petition of business plan for the control period 2016-17 to 2018-19& numbered as 183/2015 and has directed the Electricity Department, UT Chandigarh ( Distributionlicensee) to publish a public notice for inviting objections/comments from various stakeholders.

COMMENTS/ SUGEGSTIONS FROM ALL STAKEHOLDERS
i. The Commission has directed CED to invite comments/suggestions from the public on the abovePetition through this Notice. Objections/ suggestions/ comments may be sent to the office ofSuperintending Engineer, Electricity OP Circle, Room No, 511, 5th Floor, UT Secretariat, DeluxeBuilding, Sector-9D, UT Chandigarh- 1600009, email: [email protected], on or before
12.10.2015 with a copy to The Secretary, Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC) for Goa
& UTs, Second Floor, HSIIDC office complex, Vanijya Nikunj, Complex, Udyog Vihar, Gurgaon

Every person who intends to file objections and comments/suggestions can submit the same in six
copies and should carry the full name of person/ postal address, contact number and email
address. It should be indicated whether the objection is being filed on behalf of any organization or
on behalf of category of consumers. It is to be noted that if the sender wants to be heard in
person, in which case opportunity would be given by the Commission at the Public Hearing,
The Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC), after perusing the written objection received in
response to this notice may invite such objection as it considers appropriate for a hearing which is
scheduled to be held on 16th October 2015 1O:00 AM onwards at The Institution ofEngineers (India), Madhya Marg, Sector 19 A/ UT Chandigarh which will be notified by theCommission,
Copies of the Business Plan petition for the control period 2016-17 to 2018-19 alongwith the JERC
observations and CED reply to JERC etc can be obtained on written request from the office of the
office of Superintending Engineer, Electricity OP Circle, Room No. 511, 5th Floor, UT Secretariat,
Deluxe Building, Sector-gD, UT Chandigarh- 1600009 on payment of Rs. 150/- for each set,
Interested parties may inspect/peruse the said Business Plan, JERC observations and CED reply toJERC etc and take note thereoF during offlce hours at the offices mentioned above.
The detailed Business Plan petition for the control period 2016-17 to 2018-19 alongwith the JERC
observations and CED reply to JERC etc is also available on the website of the departmentwww.chdenoineerinq,oov,in and can be downloaded from there,
CED shall reply to each of the objections and objections/comments/suggestions received within
Seven days of the receipt of the same but not later than 12.10.2015 - for all the objeclions and
comments/suggestions received till 12,10.2015. Copy of replies shall also be provided to the
Secretary, J ERC Gurgaon.
