Reuse This:
Cooking water = plant food
You can forget pouring the cooking
water from boiled foods down the
drain. As long as it’s not salted, your
plants will be more than happy to
drink it once it has cooled. Both hard
-boiled eggs and steamed vegeta-
bles leave valuable minerals behind,
making the water a source of nutri-
ents for your garden.

After over 42 years of dedicated service to Crosspoint Human Services, Sonna Rose announced
her retirement effective May 3, 2017. We will miss seeing your smiling face and hearing your kind
voice on the other end of the phone at 309 N. Logan, Sonna. Best wishes on your well deserved
retirement and thank you for over 42 years!
Nancy Trosper, in Day Training, won
the flowers in the boots. Nancy said,
“I’ve never won anything before!” After
her picture was taken her classroom
started clapping. When asked if she
was planning to keep the boots for her-
self or give them to her mom for
Mother’s Day, she said she planned to
keep them.
Please remember if you need to
use the Group Room, you need
to sign up for it at the Recep-
tion Desk.
Please watch for the
Testing Sign on the Hu-
man Resources doors.
We give reading tests to
some of our prospec-
tive employees and
having you walk in during testing is a distraction when
they only have a limited amount of time for the test.
You are more than welcome to come back later.

Thought for the Month
Whosoever, wishes to know about the world
must learn about it in its particular details.
Knowledge is not intelligence. In searching
for the truth be ready for the unexpected.
Change alone is unchanging. The same
road goes both up and down. The beginning
of a circle is also its end. Not I, but the
world says it all: all is one. And yet every-
thing comes in season.
Heraklietos of Ephesos
Philosopher
What problem did Leonardo da Vinci, Winston
Churchill, Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison and
General George Patton have in common?
They were all dyslexic.
