School liaison officer
A dedicated school liaison officer will make contact with sixth form schools and colleges. The liaison officer’s role will be to promote the exhibition and to register and prepare students before they attend.

Following its successful launch in 2016, What Career Live? is now an essential event in the school calendar, attracting thousands of students, parents and careers advisors to multiple locations across the UK. With more and more school leavers now considering the alternatives to attending university, What Career Live? provides an invaluable opportunity for visitors to research the full range of apprenticeships, school leaver programmes and professional training schemes all under one roof.
What Career Live? provides exhibitors with a direct and effective forum to promote themselves effectively on a national scale, through high profile branding to a large audience of diverse school leavers.
The event is co-located with What University Live? a national
event which showcases the routes into higher education.
The co-location of the two events gives
students the unique opportunity to consider all their options side-by-side and makes this a must-attend event for anyone looking to make an informed choice
about their future.
This will include:
• Sending pre-event promotional materials to schools such as posters, leaflets, letters, emails and advisory information
• Sending pre-event promotional materials to parents via email
• Guiding schools and students through the pre-registration process
• Offering a coach subsidy to school groups
With the majority of school groups attending on the Friday, the Saturday offers parents and guardians the chance to attend with their children.
