Our community is founded from the successful and renown Krytan
Academy of Magical Arts. A former organisation focused on teaching
and learning magic for all races across Tyria for a number of
years.
With experiences gained, we decided to review and evolve our
model and scope; from a tuition center, to a self-sustaining,
proactive and involved beacon in Tyria that furthers magical
knowledge. We will not only be inspiring novices in the many
magical fields to achieve more, but will be giving more
accomplished practitioners a broader scope of opportunities in both
research, pursuit of personal goals, and job opportunities.
It will all exist in a thriving, driven environment of
like-minded people, pushing boundaries of magical research.

As an individual in our community you will be able to fulfill
personal goals in magic, forever expand your knowledge and lead
your own projects. Our guild has a lot to offer you in terms of
opportunities, some include:
Our primary goal is to further knowledge of magic by means of
exploration and experimentation. We will reach all areas of magical
expertise; old and new, practical and theoretical, and welcome new
creative uses for magic. Well then focus on the distribution and
publication of that knowledge, pairing it with our learning
environment.

Those who fall with the Medica
department devote their study
to healing and cures. They
may be interested in anatomy
and biology, and find peace
when they can mend wounds
and cure ills. They play a
crucial and important part to
our guild.
Combatants may be expert
strategists or formidable
fighters. They use their magic
primarily for the art of combat
and are eager to explore this
field. They may study and
analyse combat situations, both
as a single combatant and as a
team, and devise new ways to
use magic to defend their allies
and get the upper hand on
foes.

Those in the civil department
delve into the mix of magic
and masonry and carpentry,
thinking deeply into
architecture and construction.
They focus heavily on the
larger scale of the artisan
craft.
Artisans are masters of their
craft, creating new, exciting
items and weapons with the
aid of magic. They may delve
into subjects like, but not
limited to: alchemy, artificing,
armorsmithing,
weaponsmithing, jewellery
smithing, cooking or
runecrafting.

A scholar is someone who
delves into various applications
of magic that might not be
specified to combat or healing.
They could research a wide
range of magic uses and
applications, delving into
history and looking into
patterns.
Those in the service
department are interested in
aiding the guild. They support
relations of the guild, focus
heavily on events, public
appearance or financial
matters. They may be
interested on the monetary
front in regards to the best
deals on raw materials, or
other items of need.

Everyone in our organisation is offered the same opportunities
to further their knowledge. Every member will have access to
buildings and materials, be able to attend trips and seek
professional help from others in the community. There are
definitive ranks within the community that are based on devotion to
the goal and ones ability with magic.
Initiate: Upon joining a member will begin
as an initiate for their 2 week trial period.
Apprentice, Journeyman: These two ranks
will be support and tuition heavy, and will be
assigned Mentors to help them progress in
their fields of magic.
Adept, Master: These two ranks are for the
more skilled and dedicated members of the
guild.

Mentor: An Adept or a Master can apply to
become a Mentor if they wish to devolve
themselves to giving tuition to members of
the guild.
Council: The Council is made up of either
Adepts, Masters or Mentors.They are elected
by their peers in their department to act as a
representative in the leading of the guild to
their respective department.

magical requests and exists partly for the
service to the public. We would be happy to
help you achieve your goals with magic and
are happy to help.
We are always keen to gain more contacts in
the field whether you are a company, or an
investor. Please get in touch with our
secretary Patience Raymond. You will find
her in our office in Lions Arch and she will
gladly point you in the right direction.
In the pursuit of these new goals, and helped with this new
structure, the guild is going to provide the means for its members
to achieve their objectives, and build a positive environment.
Mentoring: The mentors in the guild will
provide individual, and where necessary or
possible, group lessons to help apprentices
and journeymen to reach their full potential.
Trips: both for exploration, experimentation,
formation and resource gathering, various
trip throughout Tyria will be organised:
occasions to both see the world, learn, and
discover.
Workshops: various workshops, both open to
the public and private, will be organised to
divulge notions useful to everyone.
Job opportunities: with the help of both the
guild as a whole and especially the expertise
of the service department, many new venues
will open for the members, both as personal
and contractor jobs.
Group activities: organised by the service
branch, group activities are various and
devised to have fun and bond with the other
members, to provide a positive environment
and introduce new members officially.
