TOOWONG FOOTBALL CLUB – 2018Welcome to Toowong Football Club (the Club) for season 2018; this promises to be a fantastic year!

As you may already know, we are a community club that prides ourselves on our friendly, vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The Club has been part of Brisbane’s footballing landscape since 1921, in that time we have provided football for people of all ages and abilities.

For season 2018 we will have teams for all age groups from Under 6 through to Over 35s, with teams available to cater for both male and female across all skill levels.

This document will provide you with the key information you need to get registered and playing, may it be for your child or yourself, and is designed to be followed from Step 1 to 5.

STEP 1 – REGISTRATIONThe process for registration is the same as 2017, with Football Federation Australia (FFA) mandating that all players process their own registration, even if returning to the same club.

The process is however pretty straight forward and allows you to make sure your contact details are fully up to date, and also do the registration at your own convenience.

The following instructions will guide you through the process, and there is also an excellent video that can be viewed (link) that demonstrated the steps to follow.

• Go to the MyFootballClub website (myfootballclub.com.au)• Click on Register Now • Select Player Registration• Follow the prompts to proceed to login pages, find your FFA

number and/or reset your password• Login using your FFA number and password• Once logged in, select Make a Registration or Register Now• Update contact details if necessary (very important)• On the next screen, enter Toowong Football Club Inc.• Select the Registration role as: Player (If this is the first time

you have registered to play football in Australia you will need to confirm whether you played in another country)

• Select the correct Registration Package that applies for your registration

• Click the Add button• Click the Next button at the bottom of the screen• Read and acknowledge the Terms and Conditions then click

Next • Either click on Pay Now to pay online with a credit card (VISA

or MasterCard), or select manual Payment at Club if you want to pay at our club information day (Step 4 of this guide)

• Answer the questions on the final page and click the Save All Answers button

For your reference, the Fees for 2018 are provided below. The only additional cost you will have above your annual fee is associated with purchasing personal playing equipment, such as match socks and shorts; all other costs are fully inclusive (no match day fees, no referee fees = no hassle on match days & no extra hidden costs, fines however are a players responsibility to pay).

STEP 2 – INFORMATION DAYSThis year we are holding two information days:

• Saturday 10 February 9am – 2pm

• Saturday 17 February 9am – 2pm

The purpose of these days is to allow parents to get ahead of the game and purchase any new on-field equipment required such as socks and shorts, and also make payments directly to the club if this is the option you have chosen in Step 2.

Our canteen will also be open selling hot and cold drinks. In addition we will have computer access, and willing volunteers, for those who may have had issues registering.

STEP 4 – VOLUNTEERINGAs stated previously, the Club is exclusively operated by volunteers. A community club like ours relies on regular new faces willing to spend some time either coaching (full accredited training is provided by the Club) or joining the Committee, or serving in our canteen (expenses are reimbursed)

Please don’t be afraid to enquire about offering any assistance; all offers are always considered no matter how small or large.

STEP 5 – SPONSOR / PARTNERSToowong FC prides itself on local community engagement. Our sponsors are our partners in business and we encourage our members to use their products and services. They invest in our club and community to make it a better place to live and play.

We will be in contact with our 2018 membership database once it is finalised to let you know our sponsor/partner list of benefits.

If you own, manage or are employed by a local, national or international business that is looking to engage the local community, we are happy to discuss options and create a solution that meets their needs and gets real results.
