Top Ten Historic Sites in the Sacramento Region

Margaret Crocker gave the E.B. Crocker Art Gallery, shown here Wednesday, January 3, 2001, to thecity of Sacramento and the California Museum Association in 1885. Renamed the Crocker ArtMuseum in 1978, the Crocker Mansion Wing was the last renovation in 1989. The museum, locatedat 216 O Street, is now in the preliminary stages of a expansion plan that should have them breakingground approximately 18 months from now.
