“Jim did a super job renovating our townhouse’s 2 bathrooms and basement. The bathroom area was small to begin with, but Jim make an excellent suggestion to install a recessed electric heater to save space. It was also an unexpected surprise when he installed a pot light at the top of the new bath unit so that it wouldn’t be so dark. The tiles, grout, toilet, painting, bath units and cabinetry were installed skillfully and came together beautifully. He was also careful to minimize dust and dirt in the rest of the house with plastic sheeting and drop cloths on the carpet.

Prior to buying our new house, we made a point of having Jim walk through it to see if it had the renovation potential that we thought it did. Impressed so much by his townhouse renovation, we hired Jim to take on the much bigger job of completely renovating our basement and kitchen.

Over the course of 2 months Jim worked with us to explore the different options we had available, he continued to make insightful suggestions on colors and materials, and we were very satisfied with the final outcome, cost, and timing.

I also want to mention that with his industry contacts Jim managed the HVAC and plumbing jobs that needed to be subcontracted out and those jobs were also done with care and expertise. “We were referred to J&N by a friend, and Jim and Nancy completed a renovation on our 1920s-era Toronto house in 2008. We had new flooring and ceilings installed, a complete electrical update, and had the whole house interior painted. Our kitchen had plumbing repairs made and new walls and insulation installed.
