It's YOUR last chance to register for PWA's Valentine's themed Bowl-a-thon fundraiser (or sponsor a friend!). LOVE BOWL on Saturday February 19th at Thorncliffe Bowlerama from 1-5pm. You can register a team of five or as an individual. WWW.LOVEBOWL.ORG Each bowler must raise a minimum of $100 to participate. AND the Top Fundraiser Prize is a VIP trip to Ottawa on VIA Rail 1 with accomodation at the Westin. Community Event - Hunger WAS Bagged PWA wishes to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to Whole Foods Market, Yorkville for their tremendous fundraising efforts over the 2010 holiday season through their Bag Hunger program. Whole Foods Market in Hazelton Lanes (87 Avenue Rd) raised an AMAZING $12,610 for PWA's Food Programs through donations made by customers at the checkout!!! This was in addition to their participation in the Joy Drive non-perishable food drive.
