2 Release Overview

Enhancements

2.1.1 Nemesis Payslip

Enhancements have been made to the “Statistical Data” section of the “Nemesis Payslip”. The

following fields have been added:

• IRPS %

• MTD/YTD Bonus Provision

2.1.2 Lesotho Tax Table

Following the budget speech, the Lesotho tax table was amended for 2018/19 tax year.

2.1.3 Negative Leave Balances Validation

An enhancement has been made with the addition of a validation that will block a User from importing

“Leave Records” should there be employees that will go into negative leave.

2.1.4 Position Delinking API

An enhancement has been made with the addition of the following API’s:

a) Position to Position Delinking

Importing this API will delink one Position from another.

b) Position to Org Unit Delinking

Importing this API will delink a Position from an Org Unit.

2.1.5 Sick Leave Request Form

The following enhancements have been made to the “Sick Leave Entitlement Form”:

a) “Entitlement per Annum” renamed to “Days Per Cycle”

b) “Entitlement per Month” renamed to “Current Balance”

2.1.6 Mass HRM Position Location Info Update API

New API has been added to the system (Position Location Info Update) that allows the User to

update in bulk.

2.1.7 FP&M SETA (Fibre Processing and Manufacturing SETA)

An enhancement has been made to the “Company Details” screen. FP&M SETA (Fibre Processing

and Manufacturing SETA) was added to the ETQA/SETA drop-down field.

3 Enhancements

Nemesis Payslip

Enhancements have been made to the “Statistical Data” section of the “Nemesis Payslip”. The

following fields have been added:

• IRPS %

• MTD/YTD Bonus Provision

Note – Follow the steps below to set up the “Bonus Provision” parameter

1) Select “Payroll Management”

2) Select “Payslip Customisation”

3) Tick “Bonus Provision” checkbox

Note – Follow the steps below to view the newly added fields.

4) Click “Setup Report”

Lesotho Tax Table

Following the budget speech, the Lesotho tax table was amended for 2018/19 tax year.

Note – Below the new Tax Table: April 2018 to March 2019

Income Tax Rates for Individuals

Lower Limit (LSL) Upper Limit (LSL) Tax Payable (LSL)

61081+ 12216 + 30% of the amount over 61080

Current Tax Year Rebates

For individuals under 65 years LSL 7260

For individuals 65 years and older LSL 7260

Negative Leave Balances Validation

An enhancement has been made with the addition of a validation that will block a User from importing

“Leave Records” should there be employees that will go into negative leave.

Note – Below an example of where the validation will block a User from importing “Leave Records”

1) See employee below with 3.6613 days leave available.

2) “Leave Request” parameter is set to “Block” on the “Leave Parameters” screen

3) See below “Leave Record” API where the “Days Taken” and “Days at Full Pay” is equal to 7

days

4) When importing the validation is prompted as the employee mentioned above will go into a

negative leave balance

Position Delinking API

An enhancement has been made with the addition of the following API’s:

a) Position to Position Delinking

Importing this API will delink one Position from another.

b) Position to Org Unit Delinking

Importing this API will delink a Position from an Org Unit.

Note – For purposes of explanation, see the below example of Position to Position delinking.

1) Position linking screen indicates which positions are linked to each other and those that are not

linked

2) Export the “Position to Position Linking” API under HRM Company and open in excel

Note – Keep “Positions” that is to be delinked – The below positions will be delinked after the

import, rest of positions will remain linked.

3) Imported the API

Note that the positions that have been delinked will display in the “Positions not linked to

Parent Position” section.

Sick Leave Request Form

The following enhancements have been made to the “Sick Leave Entitlement Form”:

a) “Entitlement per Annum” renamed to “Days Per Cycle”

b) “Entitlement per Month” renamed to “Current Balance”

Note – Below is an example of the “Sick Leave Request Form”. The new labels highlighted in

green and will display the correct balance.

Mass HRM Position Location Info Update API

New API has been added to the system (Position Location Info Update) that allows the User to

update in bulk.

Note – For purposes of explanation, see the below example of Position Info Update.

1) Below is an example of a Position with some linked employees

QA7 has a Cost Centre of 0003

2) Update “Location Details”, Update and Apply. (Do not make use of update linked employees

checkbox)

3) Export “Position Location Info Update”

4) Set “Position Number” 0000004 to Yes in order to update all employees linked to this position

Note that QA7 Cost Centre has been updated

FP&M SETA (Fibre Processing and Manufacturing SETA)

An enhancement has been made to the “Company Details” screen. FP&M SETA (Fibre Processing

and Manufacturing SETA) was added to the ETQA/SETA drop-down field.
