Subject Matter Expert (SME) Program Performance Training

4 Subject Matter Expert (SME) Program SME Program Workers who
participate in the Work Instruction Performance Training Process,
through increased knowledge and experience, can earn qualifications
along a hierarchical course. As a worker gains experience and
knowledge the process allows for elevated designations and
responsibilities. The SME process encourages workers to gain
experience and expertise in assigned job tasks. The process also
helps to prepare workers for increased responsibilities and
leadership positions within a Job Family and all of Total Safety.
All regions and districts of North America have trained and
experienced Subject Matter Experts able to instruct other employees
on Total Safetys Best Practices. Qualified Person SME Trainee JOB

Beyond Compliance Training Management System

6 Complete management of Learning System through validation of
training events and management of employee required matrices.
Empowers employees/supervisors to properly manage their positional
requirements. Training Record Management All completed records are
validated and logged through Regional Training and Quality
Coordinators. Refresher emails are delivered at pre-determined
times to select individuals. All validated training events have
completion documentation attached to record. Report Capability
Multiple report capability. Data can be mined and reported in a
variety of formats. Training Profiles (Matrix) 200 position
profiles by location created. Profiles are dynamic and can be
easily changed to reflect new requirements. Course Management
Ability to establish and manage courses; Add course description and
objectives; Assign training providers. Organization (Personnel)
Regional Training and Quality Coordinators in place to facilitate
training at regional level.

Safety Score Card improves leadership and performance
Lead/Attend Monthly Safety Meeting Visible and vocal safety
leadership by being present at monthly safety meetings. Attendance
counts 10% monthly Focus Inspection Inspection checklist prepared
by HSE and utilized by management monthly. Compliance items that
OSHA would be looking for. Attendance counts 10% monthly SAFE Card
Observations Each Manager and Supervisor will turn in 4 SAFE Cards
per Month. Each SAFE Card will be worth 5 percentage points on your
score card for a total possible of 20%

Safety Score Card improves leadership and performance
Recordable Manager or supervisor will be held accountable to focus
on ZERO Accidents (Stop Pain & Suffering) each recordable
counts 20%. First Report Completed Within 24 Hours Manager or
supervisor must be proactive in investigating a safety mishap and
completing the First Report Form within 24 hours of the occurrence.
Completion with immediate corrective action counts10%. Normal FFR
Closed Within 5 Working Days Normal FFRs that do not require a
detailed investigation will be closed out within 5 working days
from its initiation. Non completion counts 10%. At Fault MVA
Manager or supervisor must be proactive in reducing the number of
MVA by focusing on preventive measures. Each MVA counts 20%.
