Product Range Merriott Touch Temperature LST radiators comply with NHS guidelines for maximum surface temperature of 43˚C, at an output of 80˚C Flow and 70˚C Return (i.e. ΔT55˚C).

The Touch Temperature LST covers are used with the Precision emitter E22 and E22S as well as the Primo emitter RT22.

OutputsAll Merriott radiators are manufactured and tested in accordance with BS EN 442 and the NF quality mark requirements in its state of the art BS EN ISO 9001:2008 accredited manufacturing facility in Newport, Wales.

FinishEvery Touch Temperature LST radiator undergoes an intensive pre-treatment process to protect against rust. In pre-treatment, the radiators go through a series of washes which degrease the steel and an iron phosphate rinse passivates the surface prior to painting. The primer coat is applied by immersion in an electrophoretic bath to give total coverage of the bare steel and maximum corrosion protection. The durable topcoat (epoxy polyester powder) is electrostatically applied and stove enamel baked at 200˚C. The process is monitored to ensure continuous achievement of optimum adhesion, opacity and gloss levels.

Range Overview Packaging The entire surface of the radiator, including all 4corners, is protected by cardboard box ends andpacked in shrink wrapped polythene.

Emitters and covers are packaged separately allowing for delivery and installation of cover at second fix.

TestingFor Precision emitters, the standard test pressure is 7 Bar giving a maximum operating pressure of 5.38 Bar.

For Primo emitters, the standard test pressure is 13 Bar giving a maximum operating pressure of 10 Bar.

Materials Merriott LSTs are manufactured from flat steeltubes, 70mm x 11mm, with a standard thickness of1.5mm. Other thicknesses are available on request.

WarrantyMerriott radiators are guaranteed for a period of 10 years from date of purchase in respect of defective materials and workmanship. The system should be designed in accordance with British Standard Code of Practice for Water Based Heating Systems in Buildings BS EN 12828:2012+A1:2014 and BS EN 12831: 2003. The installation and commissioning of the system should comply with BS EN 14336:2004. On completion of the installation, the system should be properly flushed and filled in accordance with the British Code of Practice for the Treatment of Water in Domestic Hot Water Central Heating Systems BS 7593:2006, Part L of Building Regulations and Good Practice Guidance for Scotland. Merriott strongly recommends the use of corrosion inhibitor for all applications. Failure to observe these standards may invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty.

Optional TRV Configurations

• Each of the above is available in any RAL colour, for use in areas used by visually impaired people

• Pipework cutout is available together with the other options.

• Handings must be specified at the time of order for TRV Cutouts, Pipework Cutouts and Catflaps. Should you not know your handings, but still need to have access, TRV knockouts are supplied, and the relevant knockout can be removed on site

• Catflap access is non-lockable

• Catflap standard dimensions are 70mm x 140mm. The required location of this on the endbox should be specified at the time of order

• TRV holes are positioned as standard on endboxes to allow an inline TRV head to protrude. Should other makes and models with an offset TRV head be required, please contact the Merriott Sales Office

• Pipework Cutout is 75mm x 100mm as standard. Should anything outside of this standard be required, this should be specified at the time of order

• The location of the remote adjuster TRV cutout on the front panel must be specified at the time of order. Remote adjuster TRV make and model must be specified at the time of order as the configuration of cutouts will vary.

Optional Grilles

• Hinged top grille handing should be specified at the time of order

• Anti-ligature mesh should be specified at time of order and is used instead of all grilles on specified LST

• Use of anti-ligature grilles will reduce output by 26% and unit will no longer be NHS compliant at 43 deg
