Students will travel to Edinburgh, Scotland and undertake a two-week study tour studying tourism, festival and event management at Edinburgh Napier University (ENU). Considered as the world’s largest and most famous festival city in the world, Edinburgh and ENU are the ideal location and institutional partner for this unique academic, cultural and international study experience for undergraduate students. The tour will be focused on exposure to best practice tourism, festival and event management design and delivery, and the program will comprise on-campus lectures from academics at ENU. Students will also attend industry site visits, tours of major venues, and a number of cultural immersion tours and activities. Students will stay within Edinburgh’s city centre for the duration of the tour, will have access to all university facilities, and will participate in a welcome and graduation ceremony, and receive a certificate of completion. Participation in this tour offers students a unique opportunity to progress their personal and professional knowledge, skills and networks, and develop their cultural, international and global outlook. You will be enrolled in the Business Study Tour unit (BUS3700) and this tour will attract credit to your degree. Eligible students may also apply for OS-HELP loans to assist with program costs. Applications close on Friday, 1 March 2019.
