One of the most common causes for strap failure is the use of a sling or tiedown that has been damaged from sharpedges or other wear points. Sling protectors are designed to protect both the strap and the load. Avoid costly damage totiedowns or lifting straps. Sling protectors allow for strap to adjust without scrubbing against the load. They are easy touse and will prolong the life of any strap.Wear protection material can be permanently fixed to any lifting strap or tiedown. The most common areas for this typeof protection includes the eyes, faces or edges of the sling. Below are examples of the types of wear protection available.

TWP-1: Tube style nylon wear pad slides on for easy use. Available for straps 1”-12” wide.Sold by the foot and available in any length. Not only great for use with straps but can alsobe used with chain.

PWP-4: Polymer corner protector slides onto cargostraps up to 4” wide. Can be used with chain.Excellent protection against sharp edges.
