TOWN BOARD MEETING
Motion to open public hearing # 1-14 Bethlehem Place: J. Baisley/ M. Woolever
Wayne Cichon, Deputy Building Inspector; Gives a presentation on this property. Has been
before us since 2013- This has been abandoned and walked away from. We know who the
owners are on paper but there is no one here. Doors are always found open- there was a
demo permit but never a renovation permit. Permit is no longer valid. There are energized
wires in here and very dangerous. Stop work orders are on the house, and it is also
condemned. No Compliance on these orders to remedy.
Victor Chapland, Bethlehem Place: Victor once again voices his concerns again about the
home on Bethlehem Place, and provides a few more updated pictures.
Motion to close public hearing # 1: J. Baisley/ A. Shershin
10:16-01 Public Hearing Unsafe Property-14 Bethlehem Place (Inspector Cichon)
Resolution Moved by: Jessica Lopez Seconded By: William Carlos CARRIED 7-0 Motion to open public hearing # 2-16 Bethlehem Place: M. Woolever/ A. Shershin
Victor Chapland, Bethlehem Place: Victor once again voices his concerns again about the
home on Bethlehem Place, #16 and provides a few more updated pictures and starts
showing Wayne. He has more pictures from yesterday. Door is back open since Wayne was
last there. He also bought paperwork from the bank and complaints against them.
Jessica asks if Wayne can go back and secure doors before the time frame-
Wayne Cichon, Deputy Building Inspector; Gives another presentation on this property.
Shows the home will all the roofing materials in the driveway. Has a lot of general neglect, a
hole in the front porch roof-very bad job. Old pool that is in bad shape, deck buckling, wires
down. The power is now terminated, and they also contacted the Town Water Department to
terminate the water service also. Doors are open again so they issued the same type of
documents as #14- There is also an unlawful apartment in the home. Water and mold
damage is starting to really take over. The bones aren’t bad here but there would be a lot to
work with. No compliance with any of the Town orders. This home truly needs to be
secured.
