Universal sensors that can be programmed with TPM-02

TPMS sensor reprogramming and diagnosis tool

From 1 November 2014 all new cars shall be provided with the TPMS system to monitor the tyre pressure. To adequately take this opportunity the operators must have a specialised and universal tool. Tecnomotor offers the right solution with TPM-02, a device designed to detect the TPM sensor pressure and reprogramme/check universal sensors.

TPM-II will be an indispensable tool to:• checksensoroperationbeforetyremaintenance;

• determinethereasonwhythe“Tyrepressure”(TPMS)warninglightcomeson;

• makesurethatthesensorprovidesaccuratepressureandtemperaturereadings;

damagebecauseofincorrectprocedure;

ofafaultyOEMsensor;

• codethevehiclecontrolunitafterreplacingasensor;

• indicationoftheoperationstobeperformedincaseofsensorreplacement.

TPM-02 functions

CLONE

• UNIversal seNsor PrograMMINg. Withthisfunctionitispossibletoduplicateanoldsensorusingaprogrammableuniversalsensortoreplacebrokenand/orfaultyTPMSsensor.

This procedure programs the universal sensor with the specific firmware and identifica-tioncode(ID)oftheoriginalTPMSsensor.
