Our upcoming AGM celebrates the volunteers on our Board of Directors, current Directors, those retiring, and the incoming Directors.
We will also recognize businesses celebrating 25 years as Members of our Chamber and one celebrating 50 years! Thank you and congratulations.
In the revent Alberta Chambers Red Tape Reduction survey, the following was asked. “Overall, how do you feel about the long-term future of the province?”
Camrose response results were evenly split.
Somewhat positive: 31.6% Somewhat negative: 31.6%

The overall result was a resounding 63.2% negative, compared to 54.2% negative provincially. This lets us know there’s serious work to be done in order to turn our economy around.
Your investment in our Chamber allows us to represent and advocate policy on your behalf at the Provincial and Federal Chamber events. Let us know which issues are important to you.

We are inviting all interested businesses to join us on Wednesday, April 1st, when Paul Pryce, Principal Advisor, Consulate-General of Japan in Calgary, will be in Camrose to talk about Export Opportunities to Japan!
In 2018, Alberta exported $1.96B worth of goods to Japan, making it the 3rd ranked country in terms of Alberta’s exports. Alberta offers a high-quality supply of primary products and is the third largest exporter of agri-food products in Canada. In 2018: Alberta exports of primary and processed agricultural and food products totaled $11.6 billion. Top exprts to Japan include: Canola – 19% (382.4M), Cobalt – 10%(201.7M), Pig meat – 10% (200.6M), Wheat – 10% (190.8M), Sulfate Chemical Woodpulp – 9% (183.7M) and other products - 42% (839.4M).
