Duties only apply to shipments sent to Canada if they are valued CAN $20 and above.To send goods to Canada, DHL Customs Brokerage needs to have on file the followingdocuments to clear the shipments.For shipments sent under Incoterm Delivery Duty Paid (DDP), the sender needs to provide a: Signed Canadian Power of Attorney authorisation Registered non-resident Business Number (BN) for their company with the Canada Revenue Agencyhttp://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/bn/DHL Canada can apply for a Business Number on behalf of customers.For shipments sent under Incoterm DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid), the sender needs to provide Power of Attorney from the importer to allow DHL to clear the products through Customs.Detailed information is available on the DHL Guide and through our dedicated DHL Customs Experts.
