Traffic Tráfico Paul looks at his watch. He is worried. He has fifteen minutes to get to his interview and he is stuck in a traffic jam. He looks around. Everyone is honking their horns and trying to move into the lane that seems to be moving faster. They have barely moved in the last thirty minutes. Paul looks out of the window at the people walking past him on the sidewalk. An old woman walking with a cane passed him fifteen minutes ago. He cannot be late for this interview. He grabs his suitcase, opens the door and gets out of the car. He shuts the door and begins to walk quickly down the street. All the cars behind him begin to honk and the drivers start yelling at him. One yells: “HEY! WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU’RE GOING? YOU CAN’T JUST LEAVE YOUR CAR!! HEY!!!! COME BACK!! Paul mira su reloj. Él está preocupado. Tiene quince minutos para llegar a su entrevista y está atascado en un embotellamiento. Él mira a su alrededor. Todo el mundo está tocando sus bocinas y tratando de pasarse al carril que parece moverse más rápido. Apenas se han movido en los últimos treinta minutos. Paul mira por la ventana la gente que pasa caminando junto a él en la acera. Una anciana caminando con un bastón le pasó hace quince minutos. Él no puede llegar tarde a esta entrevista. Toma su maleta, abre la puerta y se baja del carro. Cierra la puerta y comienza a caminar rápidamente por la calle. Todos los coches detrás de él empiezan a tocar la bocina y los conductores comienzan a gritarle. Uno grita: "¡Oiga! ¿Dónde cree que va? ¡USTED NO PUEDE SIMPLEMENTE DEJAR SU COCHE! ¡Oiga! ¡Vuelva! R3: Él decide abandonar su coche allí y caminar el resto del camino. Q4: What do the drivers behind him think of that? A4: They are not happy. They begin yelling at him to come back.
