    GENERAL INFORMATION

    Cross Intersection in Four Legs:

    Baghbazaar Dillibazaar

    Singhdurbar Kamalpokhari

    Two major legs and two minor legs

    Signalized Intersection but currently the traffic

    signals are not functioning. So, Traffic Police

    Controlled Intersection (Manually Controlled)

    Zebra Crossing for Pedestrians

    Public Vehicle Stops very near to the intersection.

    (These often interrupt the traffic flow from the

    intersection during peak hours)

    TRANSPORTATION UNITA Transport Unit (TU) is the impact that a mode of

    transport has on traffic variables (such as headway,

    speed, density) compared to a single car.

    Amount of road space they occupy

    The loads they impose on road structure

    But in traffic engineering, we are mainly interested inthe equivalent congestion they create on the

    roadway.

    CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS

    Though the data is insufficient, it may be extended

    for the use of signal timing design.

    We can also find out the capacity of the intersection

    and hence evaluate the adequacy of the intersection.

    We can analyze this result to recommend better

    measures for smooth vehicular flow
