WHO IS THIS FOR
Discover the essentials of smartphone video production with our MoJo
course. Designed for youth workers, educators and volunteers this online
course blends technical know-how with innovative project ideas to engage
young people in fun and creative learning activities using a mobile device.
ONLINE COURSE | 4 WEEK (12 HOURS) DURATION
Each week participants complete:
➔ 1 hour group online webinar activity with course Tutor to learn a Mojo
activity and how to use the equipment and tools.
➔ 1 hour of self directed learning on the online course platform
➔ 1 hour session with young people
➔ TechSpace Educator Certificate on completion of the course
COST
€410 per person including an Inspiration Box of equipment delivered to your
door!
KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES
1. How to build digital creativity, innovation and lots more skills in young
people.
2. Understand the principles of photography, filmmaking and audio
production for mobile journalism.
3. How to use free and low cost mojo apps for photography, filmmaking,
storytelling in youth work.
4. How to use mojo equipment (tablets, smartphones, microphones, rigs,
lighting, etc.) to record, edit, and publish youth projects.
5. How to design and plan a mojo project to run with young people.
FURTHER SUPPORT
Following the course, participants receive membership access to the online
TechSpace Network. To avail of this they need to complete the online course ‘Join the

This training has been designed to help youth workers and educators to gain
skills and knowledge to facilitate high-quality creative media-making
experiences. Participants will explore formats and styles, learn how best to
support youth throughout the production process, plan exhibitions, and hone
the technical skills necessary to use creative media-making software.
IN-PERSON TRAINING
➔ Learn by Doing Approach, 7 hours per day.
➔ 1 Day Training, for Introduction to facilitating Film-Malking
➔ 2 Day Training for Introduction to facilitating Graphic Design
➔ Maximum of 12 Participants

is interested in learning how to use STEAM activities to engage young people
in fun, creative and innovative projects - and doesn’t know where to start!

computational thinking. ,

specific idea on what kind of support and training they need. Available in
Digital Creativity, STEAM or Emerging Technologies.

➔ A custom made course to learn about STEAM or Digital Creativity skills
of your choice .
➔ Maximum of 12 Participants
➔ Minimum 3 hours training / Maximum 16 hours training
