The constant emergence of new technologies in our daily life is changing dramatically the way training should be "consumed". The classroom filled with

students taking notes and the teacher showing slides with a projector is getting a thing of the past.

The experts foresee many changes in this area for the next few years, we can summarize them in the following points:

The training is evolving to being more online and less face-to-face. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to have a good developed system that allows to check

and recognize that the person taking the training or passing the exams, is really the person who was enrolled for the course. In this sense various facial recognition mechanisms are being developed.

On the other hand, a trend known as adaptive learning is emerging. This adaptive learning model allows, through technological solutions, to know what level of prior education students have and what their shortcomings are, and thus helping to develop training programs which are more adjusted to their needs, personalized and efficient. Big Data will have a leading role in this process.

“Flipped learning” is another method that is becoming very common; this method encourages the student to take an active part in the learning process, by using new material offered by the network. The already by all known "gamification", also takes a more prominent role, allowing online recognition through the usage of games, where accomplishments and objectives should be achieved. It is a form to recognize the efforts students have done and encourage them to continue to progress in their training.

Social networks will be another decisive factor so that the students don’t feel lonely and through which they can talk and share concerns with other students. For this reason, the mobile devices (laptops, tablets, smartphone…) are starting to be an essential part of the learning environment.

History

The company was founded in 2001 and since then we have carried out projects in more than 40 countries. We are an international consultancy company with expertise in Information Technology (IT) for business management, specialized in SAP and aligned with main market trends: HANA, Cloud, Mobility, Social Business, Internet of Things, etc. Currently we have offices in Spain, Latin America and Central Europe with a team of more than 250 consultants. Our team has extensive qualifications and experience. Our main mission is to optimize your management, anticipate your needs and improve response times.

• 2001: Since being founded, the company has been working closely with the SAP Training Department. In the first stage, SCL Consulting offered services geared towards training clients, SAP staff and consultants from other companies.• 2001: We started focusing on new SAP modules and tools, with a special interest in Business Intelligence.• 2005: Staff tripled in size and we started our first international projects in countries such as England, Ireland, France and the United States.• 2007: We now have more than 60 SAP certified consultants as a Sales and Service Partner (SSP). TrainingSCL Consulting was founded in close cooperation with the SAP Training Department in June 2001 to train SAP clients, SAP staff and consultants from other companies in logistics modules. Since then, we have been giving official courses in all areas of SAP (Accounting, Business Intelligence, ABAP, CRM, SRM, Basic, Human Resources, etc.) to become the main supplier of SAP Iberia concerning training.

We have a specific training department, with strong SAP knowledge and a clear educational vocation. Throughout our history we have given more than 13,000 days of SAP training, and have been instructors in different SAP locations throughout the world: Spain, Portugal, France, South Africa, Mexico, Argentina and Uruguay.

In 2013, we became a SAP Education Partner, a title which allows us to provide our clients the whole official SAP catalogue, and this with possible adjustments regarding content and timeframe, this in order to meet the needs of each client.

We are also able to supply licenses for the SAP Learning Hub, SAP Workforce Performance Builder (SAP WPB) and SAP User Experience Management by KNOA (UEM by KNOA), and all associated services of these products (deployment and installation, management and administration, training of users, etc).We work together with different universities to organize masters and programs which are authorized by SAP Spain, providing the experience developed in recent years, by means of expert instructors, academic management of programs, etc.

One of the latest novelties is the creation and the design of courses intended for the end user. These are, in cooperation with SAP Education, offered to those people, who already have experience in the administration areas but want to expand their curriculum with knowledge and experience in SAP.

Our training offerSAP Learning Hub

SAP Learning Hub is the future of the SAP e-learning training: a new training model which is more flexible, hybrid, high-quality and à la carte.

A new paradigm of learning:Thanks to this tool, the licensed owner has unlimited access to more than 4.000 titles, practically the entire official SAP courses catalog: from the classics “Business processes in financial accounting” and “Supply processes”, up to the newest ones such HANA and SuccessFactors. This also includes the SAP Academies which give access to obtaining the SAP Certification, or courses with the latest updates of each application. The courses catalog included in the SAP Learning Hub is dynamic and is updated each month with the new courses.

For each of the courses completed, users will get the corresponding official SAP certificate that certifies the training and knowledge in the area in question. Optionally, users can obtain SAP Live access: systems prepared specifically to be able to perform the exercises of the biggest part of the courses in the catalog. These systems are paid for depending on the hours of access.

Learning Maps:When acquiring a SAP Learning Hub license package to assign to different profiles, it is convenient to create a training plan with predefined content and milestones. This is why personalized training plans are created for each user profile, the Learning Maps. They are created via proper SAP methodology. This allows training to be carried out in accordance with a realistic approach and provides a high level of quality and satisfaction.

Expert support:When thinking of e-learning training, it is normal to think about the lack of support when problems or doubts arise. This obstacle is mitigated with hourly support or mentoring from an expert who will give the necessary explanations to embrace the content of the course. In addition, help will also be available when a person is stuck at some point so that they can move forward with the matter. All of this when needed by the client.

One of the traditional problems that companies have faced with using complex tools is the appropriate training and information of its users. And it is not unreasonable to say that, frequently, the average user only employs 30 per cent of the potential of the systems and they usually know poorly the system that they have to use in their day to day work.
