Continental brand for the first time at Automechanika 2016, giving the

The terms and conditions apply. In addition, there are the following prerequisites for courses held away from the Continental TrainingsCenter:

The size of the theory room depends on the type of trai-ning and the number of participants. The rule of thumb for courses involving practical exercises is 100 m2.

In addition to the theory room, an automobile repair shop with a car lift and a brake test stand is needed.

A video projector, screen and flip chart are required.

When scheduling dates, the arrival and departure dates and the time it takes to set up and dismantle the training equipment must also be taken into account.

In the case of consecutive courses, they may not be held at venues of more than 150 kilometres apart, as the time it takes to set up and dismantle the equipment must be taken into account in addition to the actual course time.

All prices are subject to statutory VAT. The daily rate for customer-specific courses held in Germany is EUR 1,800.00. This price includes the trainer’s fee and travel expenses, and the course documents.

Terms and conditions

Arrival and departure times must take into account the stipulated training times.Start: 09.00 Finish: 17.00Times which di�er to these will be communicated separately.If a participant arrives late for a course (arrival after 11.00) or leaves early, this shall be classed as a no-show. The cancellation rules may be applied.

Continental reserves the right to modify or expand the training details for topical reasons. The elements of a training session can be varied to suit the needs of the participants. The course documents are the property of the repair shop in question and should be made available to all the employees. These docu-ments or parts thereof may not be duplicated or passed on to third parties.

Work clothes and protective gear are important in order to prevent course participants from being inju-red during practical exercises conducted in the training rooms. It is therefore essential that participants attend the courses in work clothes. Work clothes include safety footwear and long trousers or overalls. A participant not wearing work clothes may not take part in practical exercises and may be disbarred from the course. The cancellation rules may be applied.

Means of communication such as mobile phones, tablets, etc. must be switched o� during course hours. Non-compliance with this rule may result in the course participant being disbarred. The cancella-tion rules may be applied.

The participants will receive a certificate directly from Continental Aftermarket for courses (of at least one day).

The training fees vary from course to course. All the stated fees are subject to statutory VAT. ATE Brake-Centers are awarded a 100% discount on ATE courses and a 50% discount on VDO courses. VDO elec-tronics partners are awarded a 100% discount on VDO courses and a 50% discount on ATE courses.

No cancellation fee up to the 14th day prior to the course start date; 100% cancellation fee (EUR 200.00 per course day plus VAT) as of the 13th day prior to the course start date. If a cancellation is e�ected for reasons attributable to the contracting party or the designated course participant or if no valid reason for a cancellation can be provided or if the designated participant fails to attend a course without being excused, a flat-rate cancellation fee of EUR 400.00 per training day plus VAT shall be payable.

Expenses for travel, overnight accommodation/breakfast and any evening meals or other expenses shall be borne by the course participant. The list of hotels is not a recommendation – it is merely a list of available hotels, some of which o�er special conditions for Continental training course participants. We accept no liability for the quality of the hotels or for the quoted prices being correct. Please book a hotel room yourself according to your needs. Any cancellation costs shall be borne by you.

We reserve the right to cancel a course if the minimum number of participants is not met.

Directions

From the north (Kassel): Take the A5 until you reach the Nordwestkreuz junction, then follow the signs for Wiesbaden (A66). Do not join the A66 – stay in the right-hand lane heading for Eschborn. Follow the signs for Eschborn-Gewerbegebiet-Ost and turn right at the second set of traffic lights.

From the south (Karlsruhe): Take the A5 until you reach the Nordwestkreuz junction, then get into the far right-hand lane and follow the signs for Eschborn. At the traffic lights, turn right onto Lorscher-Straße. Then take the exit to Eschborn-Gewerbegebiet-Ost and turn right at the second set of traffic lights.

From the west (Wiesbaden): Take the A66 to the Eschborn exit (17). Turn left onto SossenheimerStraße, then leave SossenheimerStraße and head towards Eschborn-Gewerbegebiet-Ost. Follow the signs until you get to the second set of traffic lights, where you should turn right.

From the east (Hanau): Take the A66 until you reach the Nordwestkreuz juncti-on, then follow the signs for Eschborn. Once you are on LorscherStraße, follow the signs for Eschborn-Gewerbege-biet-Ost and turn right at the second set of traffic lights.

Parking: The first building on your right when you turn onto Helfmann-Park is Helfmann-Park 1 (Mercure Hotel and Continental).

Turn right immediately after this building and drive bet-ween the buildings at Helfmann-Park 1 and 2. Turn right again at the end and park your car in one of the parking spaces reserved for the Continental TrainingsCenter.
