This course introduces the general concept of ID Management. We will answer your

questions on how to bridge the description of a generic ID Management scheme and

the implementation of identification within the public domain.

European Digital Tachogaph

Giving you full coverage of the developments, background and political stakeholders

involved in the Tachograph landscape. We teach you how to interpret data on tacho-

graphs and cards by giving an introduction to smartcard technology and cryptography.

Electronic Identity Documents

We provide an interactive exploration of secure technologies applied to identity docu-

ments, such as passports, identity cards, residence permits and driving licenses. We

look at new technologies from a perspective where an electronic identity document is

not a goal in itself, but a means for achieving reliable electronically supported biomet-

ric identification, seamless interoperable travel, and more.

Public key Infrastructure for Electronic Identity Documents
