TO THE COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY STUDENT:

Entering college is an important step for each person both personally and professionally. You have taken thefirst step by beginning your education at CCAC. This booklet was prepared to help you in the next steptoward your baccalaureate degree - transferring to Seton Hill University, either on campus or online. It can be used as a guide in determining which classes you have already taken at CCAC that will transfer to Seton Hill. The first columnon each page represents the CCAC courses by number; the comparable Seton Hill course is directly acrossin the second column.

Liberal Arts Curriculum requirements; the courses listed below each heading represent the CCAC courses (if any)that will fill this requirement.

The second section lists CCAC courses that have comparable courses at Seton Hill, and should therefore transfer. The first column on each page represents the CCAC courses by number; the comparable Seton Hill courses are in the second column.

As you make your plans to transfer, please keep in mind the following:

Seton Hill University may limit the number of credits a student may earn in any one area. The number of credits transferred will be determined by the Registrar of Seton Hill.

Transfer students are required to earn a minimum of 30 Seton Hill University credits to earn a degree from Seton Hill.

Transfer students must earn at least one-half of the required credits toward their major or minor at Seton Hill.

A minimum of 120 credits is required to earn an undergraduate degree at Seton Hill University with the completion of the major, minor (when applicable), and Liberal Arts Curriculum.

You must earn a grade of C- or better for courses to transfer to Seton Hill University.

Transcript evaluations and transfer of credits will be determined by the Registrar’s Office at the time of your matriculation into Seton Hill University.

Liberal Arts, major, and minor curriculum requirements are subject to change.

Please call our Transfer Counselor when you are ready to apply for admission to Seton Hill, or if you have any questions or need additional information. Transfer options include our traditional day time programs, online, or evening/Saturday programs.

For the traditional day time program, call our Transfer Counselor at 724-552-1369.For online, evening/Saturday programs, call our Program Counselor at 724-838-4208.
