Transferring user prefs in 2013 to 2014 The first step is to save the 2013 preference sets ( located at C:\Users\________\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Alias\UserPrefs2013\Preference Sets\) to the corresponding location for Alias 2014. So in Alias 2013 , go to Menus Preferences User Preferences Save Preference Set

After the Alias browser in 2013 opens , go to the User Preference subfolder of Alias 2014 folder and save the PrefSet.aps there. So essentially a copy of the PrefSet has been created in the 2014 folder.

Once the Alias browser opens, go to C:\Users\_______\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Alias\UserPrefs2014\Preference Sets\ Select PrefSet .aps ( The .aps file can also be renamed as PreSet2014.aps for better access) Click Load Pref

The 2013 User preferences has been loaded to Alias 2014 but they need to be saved within 2014. Go to

So the User Preferences has been successfully transferred in Alias 2014 from the previous version without having to set all of them all over again.
