Unified Data Store - Provides the ability to uniquely identify an Asset or Process element, irrespective of the system managing it. Thus, an equipment can easily be identified, regardless of how it is referred to in an individual system.
Homogeneous handling of current and future KPIs and deviations - Current and predicted values are handled in different systems, but their process is uniform. The way a value is visualized, used in a calculation of deviation, or used in a workflow has no bearing on whether it is a current or future prediction.
Full lifecycle management of a KPI - Provides the capability to define and track key metrics, detect deviation, and recommend remedial action, and ensure closing of execution loop.
Capture of deviation handling knowledge - Performance-related knowledge constitutes two parts: (1) knowledge about what conditions lead to an equipment failure, or dip in performance, and (2) remedial action to avoid it. Part (1) is captured from historical data, where patterns leading to failure are discovered; while part (2) is initially captured as a set of cause/effect relationships (human knowledge), and later by running a process improvement workflow, as new, unhandled cases are discovered.
Capture audit trail - Provides the ability to capture deviation events, recommended action, action taken, and event closure.

KPI Manager
KPI Manager ensures management (import/creation/modification) of KPIs for increased decision support and awareness. Some of
the key features are:
• Ability to create custom calculations
• Set up frequency of calculation as per user requirements
• Define hierarchy of KPIs (enabling lag-lead relationship)
• Storage of calculation results
• Set up integrity limits for monitoring KPIs to achieve a specific target
• Set up notifications on KPI at violation of limits/target
• Associate KPIs to hierarchy model of assets/materials
• Ability to import libraries of KPIs to form a selectable set of formulas
Event Manager
Event Manager presents operations events history across applications that can be retrieved and analyzed efficiently on the
unified platform. A self-configured panel allows event data from different assets to be displayed in various graphical formats and
different time series for analysis.
Decision Manager
Decision Manager provides a common case management capability so that alerts, events and tasks can be managed through
their life cycle to resolution. Some of the key features are:

Management
Operational Data Management provides self-service semantic processing which “federates” the name spaces among different
applications. The aim of the module is that multiple products can have their own asset model definition and be able to load these
models into the ODM module, then federate the same assets from different applications into one unified asset model. This can be
used by different applications to query how to talk/ reference another application, similar to a “yellow pages” directory. This is one
of the key features required for seamless information flow across boundaries of systems that come from different vendors.
Avantis® PRiSM
Avantis PRiSM is a predictive asset analytics solution that can provide early warning notification and diagnosis of equipment
issues days, weeks or months before failure. PRiSM gives users the ability to quickly transform raw data into actionable insights to
prevent equipment failure and make smart decisions that improve operations. Equipment-agnostic, PRiSM can be configured to
monitor assets regardless of equipment type, vendor, or asset age without the need for the manufacturer’s specific
