In the late 1980s the pressure vessel indus-try recognized after several failures that FRP vessels used as membrane housing needed to be built to established industrial safety standards to help ensure consistently safe products. From that time forward, the ASME Code, Section X became and remains today as the standard for design and fabrication of FRP membrane pressure vessels.

As some suppliers in the industry are moving away from this time tested stand-ard, we at Protec Arisawa believe that the safety and reliability of our products can’t be compromised.Therefore, all Protec Arisa-wa designs conform to the ASME Code and can be Code stamped at an additional charge if desired. PULSAtron Series Pumps For over 20 years, the PULSAtron product line has evolved into philosophy of design that continues to set the standards for the entire industry. Our engineers have developed a guided check valve system with a proven ‘seat and ball’ design that ensures reliable and accurate metering year after year. Our fin cooled Solenoid enclosure dissipates heat ensuring that the pressure handling capability of the pump can be maintained. The thermally protected Solenoid protects the pump from seizing up in extreme heat conditions with an automatic reset feature allowing the pump to resume operation upon cool-down. All PULSAtrons are tested and rated under hot conditions guaranteeing that the flow and pressure ratings meet the specifications.

These are popular liquid filter cartridges that have a continuous, diagonally interlocking weave over a supporting core. The winding provides tapered filter passages of controlled size shape. The larger particles are trapped on the outer surface and form a pre-cake. The smaller particles are trapped within the torturous path of the winding. These filters work on the princi-ple of depth filtration, offering a gradual rise in pressure drop across the life of the cartridge.

Brand Hydrowound

MMP is the largest manufacturer of the wound PP cartridges in India. The Hydrowound cartidges use the PP yarn manufactured by a superior technology. The yarn is fibrous and has about 40% higher air volume compared to conventional yarn. The filtration takes place by “absorption technology”. This provides for the advantages of ;(a) Lower pressure drop(b) Increased efficiency and (c) Higher dirt holding capacity.

Micron Rating

MMP Hydrowound cartridges are offered in standard micron ratings of 0.5, 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 75 and 100. On request, customized micron rating can also be provided. The cartridges are of nominal rating with an efficiency of 88-90%.

Meltablown Polypropylene Micron Cartridges Filters

These are popular liquid filter cartridges that have multiple layers of Polypropylene fibre, with the strong innermost layer acting as a supporting core. The cartridges are extruded as a single piece construction filter. The larger particles are trapped on the outer surface and form a pre-cake. The smaller particles as trapped the liquid passes through the depth of the filter. These filters work on the principle of depth filtration, offering a gradual rise in pressure drop across the life of the cartridge.

Brand OCEANIC and LAGOON

MMP is one of the largest manufacturers of these cartridges in India. These cartridges are manufactured in the 3 layer configuration for gradient density filtration. This provides for a controlled pressure drop and effective utilization of the cartridges.The LAGOON brand of cartridges are low weight cartridges and are meant for a variety of Industrial Applications. The oceanic cartridges can be manufactured in different weights (120 gms per 10” to 200 gms per 10”). As the density of the PP in the cartridge increases, its strength and efficiency also increases.

Micron RatingMMP melt blown cartridges are offered in standard micron ratings of 1, 5, 10. On request, customized micron rating(0.5 Mic – 100 Mic ) can also be provided. The cartridges are of nominal rating with an efficiency of 88-90%.
