The upgraded multipurpose transport-combat Mi-35P is a versatile aircraft which is unmatched worldwide.

THE MI-35P IS CAPABLE OF PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING BASIC TASKS:

• increasing mobility of land troops and provision of troops cover and fire support at the battle field• search and destruction of light-armored and unarmored vehicles, ground command posts day and night in various weather conditions• destruction of landing troops (naval assault forces) and airmobile assault troops in landing area• aerial reconnaissance• search and rescue of fixed-wing aircraft and helicopter crews• transportation of various cargoes, both inside the cargo compartment and on an external sling• paratroop operations• evacuation of casualties

COMBAT SURVIVABILITY VERSIONS OF APPLICATIONS

MI-35-P COMBAT SURVIVABILITY IS PROVIDED BY:

• highly effective armament complex

• radar warning station

• flare dispensers

• exhaust heat shields

• redundancy of the helicopter vital systems

• effective armour plating of the cockpit and helicopter vital systems

• landing-troop carrier: for transportation of 8 fully-equipped paratroopers directly to combat area through ablaze areas, flooded territories, mined zones and other hard-to-teach areas

• transport: for transportation of ammunition or small-size cargoes weighing up to 1500 kg in the cargo cabin or bulky cargoes weighing up to 2400 kg on external sling

• ambulance: for transportation of 2 stretcher cases and 2 seated casualties and a medical attendant

BESIDES BASIC COMBAT VERSION, THE HELICOPTER CAN BE USED IN THE FOLLOWING VARIANTS:

A quick conversion of one helicopter version into another is possible in field conditions

The up-to-date Mi-35P is a helicopter that combines a unique long-term experience of combat operations in regional conflicts round the world with the latest technologies and developments in helicopter manufacturing and avionics engineering.

The Mi-35P upgrade has enabled the helicopter round-the-clock application, increased accuracy of armament sighting and application, as well as accuracy of the navigation thanks to the outfitting with the electronic indication equipment and integrated flight system.

Flight data and flight-navigation equipment complex enable the helicopter flights at any time of the day in simple and partially adverse weather conditions, both VFR and IFR flights in various physiographical conditions including the flights over reference-free terrain.

MI-35P UPGRADE

Up-to-date Mi-35P helicopter can be additionally equipped with the following:

ADDITIONAL OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT

• President-S countermeasure system: it provides automatic helicopter protection against infrared seekers, MANPADs (man-portable air defense system) or air missile systems.

• 9V120-1 type anti-tank guided missiles;• B13L1 pads with S-13 type unguided rocket: they provide effective destruction of group targets, light-armored and non-armored vehicles and enemy’s manpower at the distance of up to 4 km.

OPS-24N-1L ROUND-THE-CLOCK SURVEILLANCE-SIGHTING SYSTEM PROVIDES:

KNEI-24E-1 NAVIGATION AND ELECTRONIC INDICATION COMPLEXprovides round-the-clock accomplishment of missions in simple and partially adverse weather conditions, programming of the preset route, correction based on ground reference points, output of data on flight parameters and components/systems operation and failures.

PRVK-24-2 SIGHTING-COMPUTING COMPLEX is designed for data processing of linked systems of helicopter equipment, calculation of ballistic corrections ensuring accomplishing of combat missions in all flight modes as well as operation at ground run and testing modes

GEO-ONV1-01M NIGHT VISION GOGGLESare used for visually guided flights at night time and ensure take-off (landing) from unlit (unequipped) sites and piloting at extreme low altitudes.

ADAPTATION OF LIGHTING EQUIPMENT:• the helicopter cockpit has been adapted for operation with night vision goggles • the lighting system and signal lighting equipment have been adapted to the spectral characteristics of night vision goggles.
