Help identify the new and upgraded transport infrastructure to support

large numbers of new houses planned for south Auckland which will be

released for public feedback later this month.

Auckland Council, Auckland Transport and the NZ Transport Agency

are working together to identify possible transport networks to support

growth in the area during the next 30 years.

This will include a mix of public transport, new or upgraded roads,

footpaths and cycleways and upgraded state highways.

The aim is to ensure transport is in place before new housing andbusinesses go in.

Have your say on the transport needed to make the new communities

well connected and great places to live.

There will be two rounds of public consultation,

with the first in southern Auckland

from 18 February to 3 Marchand the second in mid-April.
