It is a legal requirement that Standard Goods Vehicle Operator’s employ a professionally competent person to manage their transport operation. The professionally competent person will be appropriately qualified, and will be required to demonstrate that they are in continuous and effective control of the Transport Operation to which they have been nominated, and serving as a TRANSPORT MANAGER.

The fee is for ONE candidate place on the Course dates advertised overleaf.

Your fee includes nine-days of Classroom based ‘Guided Learning’, plus

Examination enrolment, Examination Seats

and a set of comprehensive Study Notes.

OCR are the leading awarding body for Level 3 Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), qualification. The qualification is designed for individuals who aspire to work as a Qualified Transport Manager for an existing or proposed Operator, including those who wish to take up the challenge of becoming an Operator themselves.

Examination is a 120 minute multiple choice e-

Test of 60 questions. 70% (42/60) is required for

a pass. This is an ’on-screen’ alternative to the

paper-based variant. Results are available with-

in minutes of the test being completed. Ap-

pointments for this Examination can be made

with Transportwise to suit your convenience.

Examination is a 135 minute Case-study paper.

50% (30/60) is the notional pass mark. This is

an open-book examination. This means that

candidates are permitted to have ‘hand-

written’ study material with them during the

examination. Results are notified to your Cen-

tre approximately seven weeks after the Exami-

nation. The R2 Examination is a available four

times each year.

Transportwise offer a Course solution, allowing learners to obtain underpinning

knowledge and the skills required to competently manage a transport operation in com-

pliance with legislation. However, employers will normally expect the qualification to be

supported by demonstrable experience.
