Bring enough hand sanitizer. Keep it away from young children and never leave it in a warm vehicle. At high temperatures, the alcohol could ignite. Bring enough comfort face masks. Make sure you have enough disposable masks if you cannot clean the masks regularly (at least 60° or 5 min. in boiling water). Bring enough paper handkerchiefs and bags to collect the dirty handkerchiefs during a car ride. Add a thermometer and paracetamol to your travel first aid kit and take the necessary measures in case of mild symptoms. Before departure, find out which measures apply in the country of destination (check official websites), airports, train stations, etc. Make sure to also consult the websites of your final destination (hotel, holiday home, holiday park,...). Write down emergency numbers (Belgian embassy, government emergency number... ) to call in case of an emergency. If possible, pay contactless or with bancontact. Try to do outdoor activities at your destination. Avoid crowded places as much as possible.
