    PARISH LIFE

“Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me” (Mt 25:40). Today, we are reminded that Jesus identified himself with our poorest

brothers and sisters. The Catholic Relief Services Collection serves Jesus in the victims of human trafficking, those who suffer from unjust laws, and those who need pastoral care and humanitarian assistance across the globe. Through supporting today’s collection, you help Jesus in disguise. Please be generous.

    SCHOOL NEWS

Stations of the Cross – The school children will pray the Stations of the Cross on Friday at 1:45. Parishioners are welcome.

Our Lenten Journey – each day of lent we read a “challenge” for the day. The challenge is written of a “footprint.” The footprint is added to the bulletin board that depicts a road to the cross. This represents our Lenten Journey. Stop by the school and check out the bulletin board. It is across from the school office.

2016-17 School Year – SJCS is now enrolling for the 2016-17 school year. We are also accepting applications for the SGO and Indiana Choice Scholarships. For more information about registration or these scholarships, contact the school office.

We would like to welcome Mrs. Heather Wathen to our teaching staff. Mrs. Wathen will be our first grade teacher. She will begin later this month.

The school participates in the Box Tops for Education, the Coke rewards bottle caps, Campbell’s Soup labels programs and is saving plastic twist top lids for a park bench.
