This book is about a flatpack stool design, that looks like an extruded

triangle.

Be careful, it’s riveting (the story, not the stool).

It all started when the Art Center College of Design Eco-Council decided it wanted to have furniture in the school’s rooftop garden.

But this book will focus on its pre-rooftop life...

They were designed to fit into the school’s ecosystem, they were designed to:

- provide shop training - (uses all the basic machines)

- provide a platform for collaboration - (the production is meant to be split up)

- support inventivity - (the stool is totally hackable)

- be easy to fix -(each part can be independently replaced)

EPILOGUE—

The stools now live around campus, much like the deer, trees, sun and clouds, they’ve become part of

the environment.

They could become part of yours too, if you so desire, the blueprint is on page 16.
