AgGPS AuTOSENSE STEERING SENSOR
This unique steering sensor measures highly accurate wheel angle information on all terrain. With patented technology the AutoSense™ steering sensor obtains information—without the use of moving parts or linkages—and continuously sends that information to the AgGPS NavController II.
VEHICLE INTERfACE
The vehicle interface receives navigation commands from the AgGPS NavController II, which controls the vehicle’s steering when engaged. The AgGPS Autopilot system supports ISO 11783, fly-by-wire, factory auto guidance components, or Trimble hydraulic control valves.
AgGPS NAVCONTROLLER II
The NavController II sends T3 terrain compensated corrections and precise steering instructions to the vehicle by using guidance and GPS information from the FmX™ integrated display.
LARGE IMPLEMENTS
Control your large implements and minimize the effects of draft with no additional steering hardware. Large implements draft considerably with varying soil conditions and ground moisture.
CONTOuRS AND TERRACES
The TrueGuide system can guide the implement to the line, even in the most difficult field patterns. Tow your implement online when its natural tendency is to pull through curves.
ROLLING TERRAIN
Rolling terrain creates unpredictable implement movements. Control the effects of rolling terrain on the implement by adjusting on the go.
HILLSIDES
Minimize the effect of downdraft on severe hillsides. Let your AgGPS Autopilot system pull the implement up the hill and hold the line.
AgGPS AUTOPILOT AUTOMATED STEERING SYSTEM WITH FmX INTEGRATED DISPLAY
The Trimble® AgGPS® Autopilot™ automated steering system provides one-inch repeatability
from plant to harvest with any field pattern, and extends your operating hours with
incredible precision.
Trimble RTK networks currently cover over 407 million acres of North American
farmland with additional acreage being added all the time. A network consists
of a number of fixed RTK base stations that independently broadcast RTK
correction signals so the vehicle can obtain sub-inch accuracy. Contact the
Trimble reseller in your area to find out if they manage an RTK network and
whether an annual or semi-annual fee is required.
RTK GPS Networks
AgGPS TRUEGUIDE IMPLEMENT GUIDANCE SYSTEM
• The TrueGuide system is a “passive” guidance system that controls the
implement. It uses the AgGPS Autopilot automated steering system to move
the tractor and keep the implement online.
• More control over your implement means more precision in seed and fertilizer placement, and
consistent guess rows.
• Adding the TrueGuide system to the Autopilot system typically reduces the
uncontrolled drift of the implement by more than 50% over guiding the tractor alone.
USE THE SECONDBUILT-IN RECEIVER
Open up the power of the FmX integrated display by activating the built-in second receiver, and adding the TrueGuide system to the guidance controls.
EASILY ADD IMPLEMENT CONTROL
The TrueGuide™ system uses the existing Autopilot system to improve implement accuracy. There is no need to hang additional steering equipment on the implement just to get better control.
Let the tractor guide the implement.
CONTROL WHERE IT COUNTS
If the implement is moving, how effective is the automated steering? Control the point that is doing all the work—the implement.
Control where it counts.

AG25 GNSS ANTENNA
The AG25 antenna is encased in a single, rugged housing and mounts to the implement to provide 1" pass-to-pass and year-to-year accuracy to the NavController II mounted on the implement.
AgGPS NAVCONTROLLER II
The NavController II sends T3 terrain compensated corrections and precise steering instructions to the implement by using guidance information from the FmX integrated display and RTK positions from the antenna mounted on the implement.
IMPLEMENT GuIDANCE SYSTEM
The Trimble® TrueTracker implement steering system works with any implement that can be mechanically steered. This includes potato equipment, planters, strip tillage rigs, and 3-point mounted equipment. Supplemental systems such as the Orthman® Tracker IV or Sunco Acura Trak can be added to most implements, making them controllable with the TrueTracker system.
TRIMBLE TRANSCEND POSITIONING TECHNOLOGY
The Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) is more than just GPS. With the emergence of new constellations like the GLONASS constellation from Russia, Galileo in EU, COMPASS in China and more to come, Trimble products are being designed with an eye to the future. The new generation of products will use Trimble’s proprietary Transcend™ technology, with the industry’s most advanced GPS chipset for more accuracy in more places. Transcend is shared across multiple platforms - from our current lightbars and GPS receivers to next-generation GNSS products such as the new AG25 GNSS antenna. The following is a brief overview of the changing world of GNSS.
Trimble technology embraces GNSS
GLONASS (RUSSIA) The Russian version of GPS currently includes 20 satellites and is predicted to increase to 30 satellites by 2011. Adding those extra satellites can make a significant difference in uptime for anyone who can reference both the US and Russian systems with one receiver. The Trimble® AgGPS® 442 receiver, AG25 GNSS antenna and the FmX™ integrated display can currently receive signals
from both GPS and GLONASS.
COMPASS (CHINA)
In May, Trimble announced a joint venture with the China Aerospace Science & Industry Academy of Information Technology (CASIC-IT). Fifty percent owned by Trimble and 50 percent owned by CASIC-IT, it will combine the commercial expertise, knowledge and technologies of both CASIC-IT and Trimble.
GALILEO (EUROPEAN UNION)The Galileo system is expected to be fully operational by 2013 and interoperable with GPS and GLONASS. The new AG25 antenna is Galileo-ready.
GROUND-BASED CORRECTION
No matter what satellite constellation is used, ground-based correction signals such as RTK and VRS will continue to help improve accuracy. Trimble RTK tower networks provide sub-inch repeatable correction on more than 400 million acres worldwide. Trimble was the first company to offer VRS and currently has placed more than 3,000 VRS reference stations in over 50 countries.
RTK SYSTEM
For +/-1 inch accuracy you can use the RTK
network provided by the Trimble dealer in your
area, or set-up an RTK base station on your
farm to send corrected GPS positions to your
tractor via radio.
NEW
Ag GPS AUTOPILOT RTK AND TRUETRACKER IMPLEMENT STEERING SYSTEMS
The AgGPS® TrueTracker™ system keeps implements on a repeatable path, even on
extremely sloped fields and variable soils. It includes a GPS antenna and T3 terrain
compensation technology mounted on the implement. The AgGPS FmX™ integrated
display in the tractor communicates guidance information to the TrueTracker system,
instantly adjusting implements such as tillage tools, strip tillers, drills, planters,
cultivators, sprayers and harvesters to follow directly in the path of the tractor. With
repeatable accuracy, the TrueTracker system improves seedbed and nutrient placement
helping to enhance crop stands and yields.

WEEDSEEKER AND GREENSEEKER - OPTICAL, ON-THE-GO CROP SENSORS
Now there’s an easier way to apply the correct amount of fertilizer and chemicals to your field. With the acquisition of NTech and its industry-leading GreenSeeker® and WeedSeeker® products, Trimble now offers on-the-go, crop-sensing technologies. Whether you choose to map crop vigor (NDVI), vary rates of application, or just spot spray where undesired plants exist, Trimble has a product for every situation, helping to optimize placement of crop inputs, increase yield, and reduce environmental impact.
The GreenSeeker RT200 nitrogen application system offers a more efficient and precise way
to manage crop inputs such as nitrogen.
The technology allows you to apply the right amount, in the right place, at the right time in
real time. Profits increase by an average $15 per acre.
The GreenSeeker RT200 system allows on-the-go zone management of top/side dress
nitrogen. It "talks" to the plant instead of the soil... effectively giving the plant a physical.
It verifies the amount of the nitrogen the soil has made available in season, then writes a
nitrogen prescription for the applicator to instantly deliver. The result is optimum placement
of nitrogen, eliminating costly waste and extra field passes. You’ll find improved yield,
lower nitrogen cost and increased profits.
In addition, the GreenSeeker RT200 system measures and records crop health, as a
vegetative index (NDVI), along with target and as-applied rates. These NDVI values and
rates are geo-referenced to produce a vigor map, target map, and as-applied maps for
complete record management.
CUT WEED-CONTROL COSTS BY UP TO 80%
The WeedSeeker system helps you save on chemical costs, cut down on time and labor, and
reduce the environmental impact of your field activities.
The patented WeedSeeker technology uses advanced optics and computer circuitry to sense if
a weed is present. When a weed enters the sensor's field of view, it signals a spray nozzle to
deliver a precise amount of herbicide. The WeedSeeker system will spray only weeds, not bare
ground, and is effective wherever weeds occur intermittently.
The WeedSeeker is being used in agriculture, as well as along roadsides, railroad rights-of-way,
airport runways, parking lots, parks, hiking trails, etc. The possibilities are limitless.
