'A Celebration of Arthur Miller'.
Arthur Miller died recently having left us a lifetime of
wonderful dramas, so it seems a good time to review his
legacy. From 'All My Sons' (1947) through to the great
plays he was writing in the 1990s, Miller never loses the
ability to bring before us uncomfortable truths about
contemporary life.

Roger Llewellyn in
Sherlock Holmes… the Death and Life.
In this wryly humorous tale, of murder, mystery & the
occult.....’the world's greatest detective refuses to leave the
stage!’
‘A fantasy based upon a fiction’, finds Conan Doyle tiring of
his ‘intolerably arrogant Sherlock Holmes’, and inventing the
malevolent Moriarty, to dispose of him. But Doyle's
dangerous strategy, combined with his passion for raising
the spirits of the dead, has rather more surreal and dramatic
consequences than he bargains for!
After his international success in ‘Sherlock Holmes.... the
last act!’ Roger Llewellyn returns in this spine tingling new
play, written by David Stuart Davies, and directed by Gareth
Armstrong with original music by Simon Slater.
Sherlock Holmes... the Death and Life is produced and
presented by makin projects in association with Guildford's
Yvonne Arnaud Theatre.
'An actor completely in charge of his material, his stage and
his own artistry, the vocally impeccable Roger Llewellyn
achieves an almost old-fashioned, and certainly rare,
symmetry of excellence and entertainment' -

Doyle would have approved' - Time Out, London

The Buried Moon
In the darkest corners, among the wavering tussocks and
the trembling mools, the muddy, black bogs and the great
twisted snags…The Things dwell.
Creeping, crawling, slopping horrors that hide in the
gloom of the fen.
Boggles! Boggarts! Witches! Will-o-the-wykes!
Fear not, for the Maiden of the Moon looks after the
village folk; brightly guiding them through the night away
from the Things who would sneak and sneer and gobble
them up! But who looks after the Maiden? And what
would the village folk do if she disappeared?
One dark night the light is out, and so are the Things…
Join the Babbling Vagabonds; those scaredy-cats who
brought you The Shadow of the Firebird and The Lonely
Giant for a frightful slice of theatrical magic. Whispers
and shadows will whisk you away on a spooky adventure
to a time long gone, when Lincolnshire folk feared to go
