MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD MASTERNothing has been accomplished while something remains to be done

The last 100 years have seen Trinity Grammar School evolve from its humble beginnings in 1913 - when visionary Reverend George Chambers commenced his first classes with just 57 students - to a state-of-the-art, multi-campus education facility, where today over 2,000 boys are guided to discover and develop their skills and talents.

Although our beliefs and principles have remained steadfast, the physical space our great School now inhabits, bears little resemblance to the original site. But without the pioneering efforts of those that have gone before us, we would not be able to offer our boys the extensive range of educational opportunities and facilities that they enjoy today - a contemporary environment where every boy has his best opportunity to realise his unique potential, passions and purpose in life.

Previous generations of the Trinity family have worked incredibly hard to ensure that our School has kept pace with the demands of modern day education, and we now have the privilege of maintaining this tradition. Together, let us continue to build on what has already been achieved by those who have gone before us. As you can see from the exciting developments in store for Trinity Grammar School, we have a long-term plan to ensure that our students, present and future, have the very best in educational opportunities, for the next 100 years.

In turn, each new generation has taken the School forward and built upon the hard work of those who have gone before. School fees alone could never have built this marvellous place. Rather, many remarkable men and women have selflessly given, in order that young men may have the opportunity to receive a Trinity education.

Trinity Grammar School is committed to providing a world-class learning environment with state-of-the-art facilities where boys can grow in mind, body and spirit, and is proud of its long history of perpetual development of the School’s buildings and facilities.

The Roderick West School of Music, containing a choir room, orchestra room, band room, music-composing computer labs, recording studio and 20 other music studios, was opened by Miss Lauris Elms, AM, OBE.

A car park under No.3 Oval constructed at the Summer Hill Campus, as was a retaining wall next to Yeo Park, plus a sports store.

The Founder’s Building, incorporating a drama theatre, film and sound editing studios, computer lab classrooms, interview rooms, Terrace Room and the Arthur Holt Library was officially opened by the Most Reverend Dr Peter Jensen.

Refurbishment and relocation of boarders to Bishop Chambers House, Summer Hill.

The bus shelter on Chapel Way was built at the Summer Hill Campus.

The redevelopment of the old Boarding House to accommodate the Junior School was formally recommissioned.

The Gymnasium and Music Centre, containing over 10 music studios, as well as two larger music rooms and an underground gym, opened at the Preparatory School.

Completion of the underground car park and Fitness Centre at the Summer Hill Campus, plus the re-development of Oval No.2 (state of the art all weather oval for Track and Field, Cricket, Football and Basketball).

The Multipurpose Pavilion at the Preparatory School was completed.

The new Library was completed under the existing staff room on the north side of ‘Llandilo’ at the Preparatory School.

A New Junior School opened that provides our students and staff with an open, warm and collaborative learning environment.

Construction of the Preparatory School shade structure enabling students to enjoy outdoor learning experiences whilst being protected from the elements.
