>ENGAGING GOD OUTDOOR WORSHIP: Don’t forget we hold the 11 a.m. worship service outdoors on the last Sunday in July (July 26) and August (August 30) as well. This is a great opportunity to invite a friend. Please bring a lawn chair and/or a blanket to sit on. SUMMER SERMON SERIES: YOUR QUESTIONS, HIS ANSWERS continues today. Based on questions we have received from you, we will be preaching/teaching on the following topics:

July 26 How do I walk with people through pain and suffering?

Aug. 2 Faith: Where do we get it? How do we grow it?

Aug. 9 Is my Faith Weak?

Aug. 16 Heaven: Who & How?

Aug. 23 Heaven: When & What?

Aug. 30 What Happens When Faith & Life Collide?

Sept. 6 Does God still speak today?

(Please Note: On Sunday Aug. 9, 16, and 23 at 9:30 in the Community Center, we will be addressing questions you have given to us related to same sex relationships, gay marriage, can a person be gay and Christian, and so on. We believe that a Bible study setting, which provides people with an opportunity to respond, ask questions, etc., is a more effective way to address these challenging issues.)

>ENGAGING GOD’S PEOPLE STEPHEN MINISTRY AT TRINITY is looking for people who want to walk alongside others as they experience the challenges that life offers. Prayerfully consider if you are suited to be someone that others could trust and benefit from your weekly visits. Stephen Ministry is a two-year commitment and requires 50 hours of training. Questions? See Pastor Gary or email [email protected]. STEPHEN MINISTRY- O Lord, our good shepherd, just as You care for your flock and for the lost sheep, You call us to care for those within and outside our congregation who are struggling with challenges. Help each of us to recognize their needs so that we can reach out with Your love and compassion. Help us also to recognize those who could benefit from additional care so that we may guide them to our pastors and Stephen leaders. We pray in the name of Jesus Amen. Call the church office to reach a Stephen leader.

FOOD PANTRY HELP—The food pantry needs help and not in the form of goods for our customers. We are looking for some help for the summer. If you are interested, please contact Sally at 586-465-4218.

LIVING YOUR STRENGTHS JOURNEY–God has uniquely designed each of us with a set of talents. We offer the 7-week Living Your Strengths Journey 3-4 times/year to help you uncover your “Top 5” talent themes and how they make you “you.” Following is 1 of 34 themes and how it’s designed to bless. For info, about the class, contact Sue von Fange at [email protected].

THE BLESSING OF THE ANALYTICAL TALENT begins with the way your mind works as it automatically formulates penetrating questions. Your questions have a common theme in that they are always “truth seeking.” Questions of “How do you know…?” “Why?” “What evidence do you have?” are constantly in your mind. These produce the real blessing of the Analytical talent, which involves the quality of your decisions, problem solving and planning capabilities. How do you use your Analytical talent in service of God and others?

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS—Stop by the volunteer office between services on the second Sunday of each month for a blood pressure check by members of the Health Ministry Team. ATTENTION PARENTS of incoming 6th, 7th and 8th Graders! Pastor Brian recently introduced the changes coming to the Middle School Ministry program, including our process of confirmation.
