ANNUAL STEWARDSHIP EMPHASIS: Today we continue our preaching series called LOADED: A Richer Perspective on Money. This week’s reading is Matthew 6:25-34. Money is a loaded issue. It's loaded with emotion, loaded with temptation… loaded with options. This makes money one of the most difficult - and most important – things to talk about. In this teaching series we’ll consider what God’s Word has to say about the stranglehold money and materialism has on our lives, the “servant role” of money in our lives, how to be a more generous giver for the sake of Christ’s mission, and how to take some personal action steps in more faithfully stewarding this gift of God. Our Stewardship series will conclude with our Commitment Weekend on May 16/17. May 10: Mark 12:41-44—The Widow’s Mite
