Beating the Bounds! Blessing the Land for Lindisfarne Hall
Rogation Sunday, May 21st, at 9:15 AM… It is customary on Rogation Sunday
for the clergy to bless the parish boundaries and claim the lands for Christ in a
ceremony called Beating the Bounds. We will Beat the Bounds of our newly
acquired property and plant a cross on the site to claim it for Lindisfarne Hall
to the Glory of God. Please join us as we march around the new land in this
victory celebration.

This Canadian website has a page for the Propers (Collect and Scripture
Readings for Mass) for every Sunday of the Church year together with links to
important resources such as information on the rationale of the Propers,
history, commentary, and sermons based on the Propers. It is a very valuable
and useful resource for anyone who wants to study the Propers more closely.
And although the Canadian prayer book includes minor differences from our
1928 BCP, the developers of the site always note the differences and include
the American text. I use this website almost every week. ~Fr. Cunningham
