Itinerary Day 1 Meeting point on the 1st day at 5pm in Rhodes marina near the old town harbour. This is subject to change and we will inform you on email. Meeting point google map location Address: Rhodes Marina, Afstralias 124, Rodos 851 00, Greece Days from 2 to 7 Flexible Travel Note! Swim, Sail, Cruise, Relax. Our cruise will depart and return to Rhodes, Greece and we will be travelling around the southern Dodecanese islands ( Rhodes, Symi, Nisyros, Tilso, Chalki) as part of the journey. Such trip requires a certain amount of flexibility due to weather and sea conditions and we prefer to have an open itinerary. This means we plan our final route on location as we go and according to the weekly weather forecast. Our route includes the following islands below and we always aim to see and do as much as possible. Our daily schedule includes morning and afternoon swims with meals and crusing time in between. We may occasionally have to limit the swimming time or make only one swim a day due to longer travel in between the islands. We stop on the islands either in the harbour or in the bays and we also get a chance to explore parts of the islands by walking. Day 8 We return to Rhodes marina on around 9am. Our boat may get back to Rhodes a night before, so on the 7th day afternoon / evening hours. This de-pends on the trip logistics in the final days.

Islands to visit Symi Symi island has a very diverse landscape with high hills and numerous long inlet bays. Symi is surrounded by a few smaller islands including Ni-mos and Sesklion which offers us an incredible variety of swimming options. Our favourite swim-ming spots on the Eastern side are Pedi, Nanou and Marathounda bays. Historically, Symi had a rich tradition of ship building and sponge fishing. Nisyros Nisyros is a volcanic island bult of pumice and rock. The soil is incredibly fertile and produces a unique flora popular with botanists. Vineyards, fig and almond trees thrive and there are many wild flowers. Most people who come to the island will climb to see the volcanic crater and enjoy time on the black or red sandy beaches. Tilos Tilos island offers serene mountains, valleys and meadows surrounded by majestic limestone cliffs. Many isolated beaches offer us unspoilt, quiet swimming venues. Avid bird watchers find this island attractive due to many rare types of Mediterranean birds nesting here. Chalki Chalki together with neighbouring Alimia offers sheltered bay swimming and chances to walk off the boat and explore. Chalki has a rocky land-scape and variety of wildlife including butterflies, bees, goats and wild flowers. The old, picturesque mansions around the harbour area were once oc-cupied by sea captains and add to the interest of the area

Keep in mind that you can skip any of the swims you want and relax on the boat or you can kayak along. Non swimmers can also use kayaks. Walking The walking on the trip is easy and it is on recognised paths and in towns. In order to enjoy your walks when we go off the boat, please bring comfortable light walking shoes and suitable clothes for summer temperatures. NOTE! You do not need any shoes while on gulet boat. We walk barefoot. Walking distances Symi island - 1 km, Nisyros - 2km, Chalki - 2km Essential Equipment To Bring In addition to normal items, we recommend bringing the following: 2 swimming costumes, 2 pairs of swimming goggles (one clear and one tinted for different light conditions), sweater/fleece, towel, sun hat, small daypack, waterproof sun cream and jacket, walking shoes and sandals or aqua shoes. Mosquito repellents are recommended during some evenings. We provide drinking bottles while you swim and swim hats.

Swimming awareness Your safety is of utmost importance to us. In the event of adverse weather conditions at any of our swimming locations, we may need to adapt our itinerary. Our team always includes local guides who know great places to swim, weather conditions, so rest assured you won’t be missing out! Swimming in the open sea amongst natural wildlife is a unique experience, but you may come across certain marine life such as jellyfish, sea turtles, coral and sea urchins from time to time. There are very few jellyfish along the Greek southern Dodecanese islands and so the risk of any unfortunate encounters with them is low. If you are stung by a jellyfish and are unable to carry on swimming, you will never be far from an escort boat where one of the guiding team will be able to treat the affected area. If you suffer from Anaphylaxis or any other allergic reactions it is important to inform us at the time of booking. Food, Meals We hire a traditional high quality wooden gulet and crew for this trip. We have our own chef who cooks for us the entire week. Full board is included in our cruise and meals on board are exceptionally good, consisting of a variety of fresh salads, fruits, grilled meats, local fish and Turkish and Greek specialities. Vegetarians will enjoy both Greek and Turkish mix of vegetables and mezes. Meal times will depend upon cruising schedules and our swims. Dinner on the deck is usually the highlight of the day; a long leisurely meal sitting under the stars listening to the water lapping at the hull of the gulet. If you wish to go off gulet and have a dinner on land there will be a few opportunities to do that as well. Water on board is included during meal times, but not alcoholic drinks. You can buy additional drinks on-board for normal rates. Please see the beverage list and prices attached for your information. Bar prices
