TheTRTM7isamechanicaleconomysevenprogrammer,givingarangeofprogrammedoffpeaktimeperiods,whichareuseradjustabletosuitallprogrammingneeds.

Ithasamanualboostof15,30,60and120minutes.

Itcanbeusedwithsingle,twinanddualimmersionheaters.

Itissuppliedwithanindustrystandardbackbox,andisinterchangeablewithmostcommonlyfittedeconomysevenprogrammerswithouttheneedforre-wiring.

2. Installation:

TheTRTM7issuppliedwithastandardbackbox,whichcanbeusedifthereisnoexistingbackboxalreadyinstalled.Thenewbackboxmaybescrewedtothewallusingthefittingsprovided.

Theleadsarenumbered1to5,andifdisconnected,mustbereplacedappropriately.

Thereisanoptionalearthterminalforincomingandoutgoingearthcontinuity.

Cablesshouldenterthroughaconvenientknockout,andshouldbesecuredusingthecableclamp.

Theterminalsarelabelled:

1 Live.

2 Neutral.

3 Heaterneutral.

4 Boostload.

5 Offpeakload.

3. Commissioning:

Contactyourenergysuppliertocheckwhichenergyplanyouareon.

Screwthefrontoftheunittothebackbox,usingthescrewsprovided.

Removethetamperproofcoverbypullingitaway,andturntheouterringofthetimermoduleclockwisetosetthecorrecttime.

Settheeconomyperiodbypositioningtherelevanttappets.Intowardsthecentreisoff,outtowardstheouteredgeison.

WiththerockerswitchintheOFFposition,theunitcanbeprogrammed,andtheinternalbatterywillcharge.Therewillbenooutput,eitherfromeconomyperiodsorboost.

WiththerockerintheTIMEDposition,theoutputwillbeaccordingtotheprogramme,ortheappropriateboostperiod.

Duringoffpeakperiods,theeconomylightwillilluminate.

4. Manual Boost:

Themanualboostisoperatedbypressingtheboostbutton.Whentheboostbuttonispressed,thebuttonsurroundwillilluminate,andtheselectedtimewillbeilluminatedalso.

Boostcanbefor15,30,60or120minutes.Successivepressesoftheboostbuttonwillscrollthroughthetimeperiods.

Boostcanbecancelledbyrepeatedlypressingtheboostbuttonuntilthereisnoboostlightdisplayed.

Shouldaneconomyperiodstartwithinthedurationoftheboost,thiswilloverridetheboostperiod,usingcheaperoffpeakelectricity.

Duringanoffpeakperiod,withtheeconomylightilluminated,itisnotpossibletousetheboostfunction.
