Preface

Training provides security

With your TRUMPF laser you have acquired an excellent high-tech system. Whatever the task

- welding, cutting, labeling or using the tool for other jobs: The respective machining pro-

cess always requires exact compliance with all parameters involved in the process. This is

true for clamping and positioning as well as for the laser tool itself.

In the training courses at our Schramberg training center you get to know your laser and its

functions in detail. The training makes you more assured in your daily work and ensures

that you can utilize the full potential of your laser.

Furthermore, our online support can be ideally combined with a training and up to 80% of

all faults are immediately remedied. With our safety-certified online support we offer you a

worldwide unique service. Once our specialists have been enabled online, they can monitor

and control all functions of the laser, diagnose errors and generally remedy these errors. Idle

times and service missions on site are thus reduced to a minimum.

Our know-how is your gain

Our trainings are aimed mainly at employees who work with the laser system or are respon-

sible for maintenance and repair. Experienced service technicians and specialists from our

development department pass on their in-depth know-how tailored to the requirements of

the participants.

The training participants get to know the structure and the function of their laser system.

Maintenance and error detection and elimination are practiced. The focus is hereby on the

device technology. The basic theory of laser application is communicated and practical

exercises are carried out. Special application trainings are offered separately.

This course is aimed at whoever wants to acqui-re basic knowledge of integrating image pro-cessing programs into their production process.


Note: A basic knowledge of operating a laser device with TruControl 1000 and knowledge of operating a PFO is required to participate.

The course is carried out on a PFO with exercise sections of the training center.

This course is aimed at whoever wants to acqui-re expertise in safely working with the Vision LIne software in connection with the 3D TRUMPF machines, as well as practical creation and customization of programs.


Note: Participation in the Vision Line Detect basic course and in the operator course of the respective TRUMPF machine (e.g. TruLaser Sta-tion 5005) is required to participate.

Prior knowledge of CNC variable programming is necessary.

The course is generally carried on a TruLaser Station 5005 with exercise sections of the trai-ning center.

I-PFO

I-PFO (operator and programming cour-

The I-PFO (intelligent PFO) is a PFO focusing optics software and is connected to a robot and a TruDisk laser.

The I-PFO is used as tool for welding. The I-PFO starts the processing based on information about the current robot movement, which is continuously transferred. It knows the exact time and point at which to weld.

A camera and an image analysis software can be used to check whether the welding seam is OK or needs to be corrected.

The course provides basic knowledge on com-municating between laser device, robot and focusing optics. Practical exercises are carried out by TRUMPF on the exercise workpieces.
