Guo Meimei, 20, appeared to hold a senior position at the Red Cross Society of China, a government organization that is the country’s largest charity. Under the name “Guo Meimei Baby,” she had boasted on her microblog that her title was “commercial general manager” at the Red Cross, a claim that had apparently been verified by Sina, the Internet company hosting the microblog.

The Red Cross Society of China faces a credibility crisis, following a series of high profile scandals （备受瞩目的丑闻） . Extravagant staff meals （奢侈的员工餐） and the Guo Meimei affair have seriously damaged the reputation of China's largest charity.

• In order to get max profits, some producers give up their sense of moral and legal, don’t care customers’ health and lives.

• Government sometimes doesn't keep promises.

• Social members consider mostly protecting themselves, weakening the sense of gratitude and help each other.

Possible suggestion

• Improve legal system, but most important is to carry out strictly.

• Propagating （弘扬） the traditional culture and promoting the development of Chinese cultural enterprise .

• Provide more transparency （透明度） , opening all donations to public scrutiny（公众监督） .

• Enterprises must learn to bear the social responsibility and establish a good reputation.

• The government should establish credibility and transparency.
