Summary of the mainachievements of the charityduring the year

KNC hosted the Lambeth Muslim Group to lead on organising a trainingsession in partnership with the Met Police to build the skills of themanagement of local Islamic organisations in Lambeth.

KNC partnered in a cross party initiative "Engaging Faith Communitieswith British Democracy" event, which was arranged for Parliament Week8 Interfaith Week 2017 to increase the community's political and religiousliteracy.

KNC in partnership with the Naz Foundation organised a health testingfor men and women to raise awareness of health conditions in theMuslim and BAME communities in particular.

KNC facilitated a seminar held in the House of Lords, kindly hosted byThe Lord Sheikh, on Islamic finance. The event served to raiseawareness on the importance of Islamic finance, its promotion by theBritish government which recently released the "sukook" and the UKbeing one of the leading countries to teach Islamic finance in highereducation. Many parliamentarians, academics and entrepreneursattended and spoke.

KNC hosted the annual interfaith iftar where around 25-30 communityand faith leaders joined the Muslim community to open their fast.Superintendent lan Howells particularly joined us on this event.

The trusteess present their report along with the financial statements of the charity for the yearended 31 August 2018.

The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the accounting policies setout on page 3 and comply with the charity's trust deed applicable law.

Constitution objects and policies

The Khatme Nubuwwat Centre is now constituted under the power given in the charities Act2011 and is govern by a SCHEME ordered on 02 February 2018 by the Charity Commissionfor England and Wales.

The objects of the charity, are for the public benefits:

To advance the Islamic religion by the provision of a Mosque.To advance islamic education for both children and adults.To promote religious harmony by fostering better relations between Muslims and

And subject to the provisions of clause 5 in the Scheme ( Power to dispose of andreplace purpose property), the land identified in part 1 of the schedule to the schememust be maintained by the trustees for the objects of the cahrity.

The policy of the charity is to continue to seek finance and support in order to attain theobjectives of the charity.

Trustees are appointed by the board of trustees at a special meeting called under clause 15 ofthe scheme govering the charity.

There should be a minimum of 5 trustees and maximum of 7 trustees.

Material expenses, donnations, and recipients are approved by the Board of Trustees prior torelease of funds.

Achievement and Performance( KHATME NUBUWWAT CENTRE - referred here as KNC )

The "Eid Ul Adha Interfaith Celebrations" event was arranged to mark the end of theHolypilgrimage: Hajj. It was celebrated with the community at large and with speakers fromacross the board, including Superintendent Tamsin Jones, Rev. Alan Gadd, Cllr ChristianaValcarel, etc to raise awareness of Islamic practices and teachings.

Financial review

The founder trustees of the charity donated its current freehold building at the time of itsformation and as such there are no encumberances on the use of the property. All majorexpenses on the building are being capitalised over the period.

Fund Collection Policy

The trusttes have collected funds and donnations under the following specific Islamicdefinitions only:

Rental income

Trustees believe that the funds collected or paid by the donnors for any of the named Islamicbeliefs can be utilised to attain the objectives of the charity. Consequently for the purpose ofthe financial statement all collections have been considered as unrestricted donnations.

Risk Management

The trustees have examined the major strategic, business and operational risks which thecharity faces and confirm that systems have been established to enable regular reports to beproduced so that necessary steps can be taken to lessen the risks.

Trustees' responsibilities in relation to the financial statements

Law applicable to chariTies in England and Wales requires the trustees to prepare financialstatements for each fianacial year which give a true and fair view of the charities financialactivities during the year and of its finandal position at the end of the year. In preparing thosestatements, trustees are required to.

~ Select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently;

~ Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent;

~ State whether applicable accounfiing standards and statements of recommended practicehave been follwed subject to any departures disclosed and explained in the fianancialstateemnt; and

~ Prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate topresume that the charity will continue in business.

The trustees are responsible for keeping accounfing records which disclose with reasonableaccuracy at any time the financial position of fiie charity and enable them to ensure that thefinancial statement comply with the Charities- Act 1993.They are responsible for safeguardingthe assets of the cahrity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention of fraud andother irregulanties.

a) Basis ot preparationThe accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with

FRS 102, The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (asapplied to small entities by section 1A of the standard).

b) Resources expendedExpenditure is included on an accruals basis.

Donnations payable are charged in the year when the offer is conveyed to the recipient. Suchdonnations are recognised as expenditure when they are paid.

I report in respect of my examination of the charity's accounts carried outunder section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I havefollowed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission undersection 145(5)(b) of the Act.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters havecome to my attention in connection with the examination which gives mecause to believe that in, any material respect:
