FESTIVAL OF INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC CLUSTER REHEARSAL Students will attend a cluster rehearsal in preparation for the Festival of instrumental music, in Perthville on the 18th of June. Students will travel to and from the rehearsal by private transport and there is no cost involved. Please contact the school if you have difficulties with transporting your child to and from Perthville. ***A reminder that tickets to watch the “Banksia Concert”, go on sale on Tuesday 25th June at 9am. Please note, these tickets sell out FAST. There is a limit of 4 tickets per transaction. The child performing does not require a ticket. Tickets are available via www.sydneyoperahouse.com or (02) 9250 7777. PLEASE NOTE: No tickets are available from the school *** CWA PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION Congrats to Will (Year 3), Annabelle (Year 4), Max (Year 5-missing from photo) & Eliza (Year 6) who will represent our school at the Central Western Group School’s Public Speaking Competition in Orange later this term. BAND Will resume for Term 2 next Monday 6th of May. Please do not forget to bring your instruments. The members of our leadership team will participate in the Grand Parade on Saturday afternoon at 3.45pm so if you’re attending the show, make sure to go and watch the parade and give our students a cheer as they parade by. YEAR 6 JERSEYS Year 6 Jersey’s arrived in the holidays & will be distributed to the students. If any parent of a Year 6 2020 student would like to take on the task of sorting the jerseys for next year, please contact Fiona Taylor. Good to get onto this now as Canterbury often take a while to get organised! PIE DRIVE Please note, all pie drive orders must be returned to school, with payment, tomorrow 1st May.
