We are aware of several families who will continue to learn from home to mitigate health risks but if you are planning on not returning to full-time face-to-face, please keep us informed. Whilst the Managed Plan attached says that during Stage 3 “You may walk your child/ren into and out of school, whilst maintaining social distancing”, we ask that you please respect our request to continue with “Kiss & Drop” for the time being so that we can limit the number of adults on school site. As with the students, staff are required to stay home if they show any signs of being unwell, so by staying offsite, you help to keep us well and most importantly, onsite! Lots of our students have spent the extra time we’ve had at home lately in their vegetable gardens planting up a storm! Now is a great time to enhance the herb garden or revamp the vegie patch! Here are a list of plants ready to be planted now. Gardening is not only great exercise but gives you that all important time out in the fresh air we’ve all been missing learning from home. We would love to see some photos of our students hard at work in their gardens!

HERBS – plant chives, coriander, garlic, lemongrass, marjoram, mint, oregano, parsley, rosemary, shallots, tarragon and thyme.

FRUIT & VEGETABLE – plant broad bean, beetroot, cabbage, carrot, cauliflower, Chinese

broccoli, Chinese cabbage, English spinach, leek, lettuce, onion, parsnip, potatoes, silver beet,

swede and turnip.
