Refiner's Fire
When the night seems too longAnd the pain is too strongAnd I want to panic and fearI need Your love to hold me, LordWrap Your arms around me, hold me near.
Help me to lean into Your mercy and grace
In my raging storm I only want to see Yourface
Please help me to yield in full surrenderBurn my selfish desires in the fire of Your
loveMake me a reflection of Your love so tender.
Things I hold dear are now a lossRefine me Lord, take away the drossKeep me in the fire until Your face I seeHold me in submission to the foot of Your
cross
So others will see more of You and less ofme.
Your love, Lord is a refining fireRemake me, mold me, that's my heart's
desireDon't stop working on me until You seeThat I am all that You requireOnly then will I be truly free.
Lord, the fire of Your love causes me pain

Surrender doesn't come easy for meBut You know I desire to be a living sacrificeSo help me to stay upon the alterUntil I am all that You want me to be.

What Cancer Cannot Do
Cancer is so limited
It cannot cripple love
It cannot shatter hope
It cannot corrode faith
It cannot destroy peaceIt cannot kill friendship
It cannot suppress memories
It cannot silence courage
It cannot invade the soul
It cannot steal eternal life
It cannot conquer the spirit
