When the tsunami struck the Coramandel coast of India on the 26th of December 2004, Isha Foundation played an integral role in providing
immediate relief to the victims.

• Medical Relief : Eight Mobile
Health Clinics deployed from theFoundation’s Project Action for Rural Rejuvenation Program¾ Each clinic staffed by two qualified
allopathic physicians and aparamedical support staff of four
¾ Provided vaccination and medicalcare to over 48,000 patients in thedisaster area
¾ Dispensed medicines worth Rs. 1million ($23,529)
Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, founder of Isha Foundation, made extended personalvisits to affected areas and led a team of 2,500 dedicated volunteers with prior experience in social outreach programs.

• Contingent on economic support and governmentalpermission, Isha Foundation is prepared to extendservices to additional villages.
